“My husband is the one who originally got the contract so I had never seen it well when it came time to move into our house it was me on my own as my husband is military and overseas. I went in to ask if there was any way to prorate us for 4 days as our rent was due but being alone I couldn’t move the heavy things I went in to ask and the lady was very rude and disrespectful and said “you signed the contract it says no prorating so you have to have it out or pay for the entire month” I was so upset I fully understand yes we signed a contract but I had no clue as I had never seen it but she could have been a little nicer instead of being so snarky about it just poor customer service although when I went back to pay two days later the young lady in there was super sweet to me so I guess it depends on who you talk to”
“Stuff Self Storage runs a fairly clean, fairly well maintained facility. Their online system for payments is easy to use and allows for quick, easy monthly payments. I believe I can also update my gate code if desired. Although the lot is somewhat in decay, it is still maneuverable and safe. They are responsive to maintenance requests and do whatever is in their power to address any issues you might have. They recently have raised the monthly rate on my unit which is somewhat frustrating given that most storage units in my experience do not do this to existing renters until you elect to make some sort of change.”
“We have been extremely happy with our storage unit. We rent an indoor climate controlled unit and have for about a year and a half. The prices are fantastic and they even offer a military discount.”
“Ray was beyond awesome. I've worked for years dealing with customers first hand as a service tech, he handled everything with the kind of service that I always strive to provide my customers. He went above and beyond, he gave tips for things, helped guide my truck to line up with the storage to make my load in easier, handled all issues that were going on when I got there with the kind of knowledge and customer service people hope for. Never said anything he wasn't sure of just to get people to feel at ease. Honest, knowledgeable, kind and considerate.
As far as the complex, seemed very clean, unit was nice and well taken care of. The only downside I saw was that the road could use some attention. That's the biggest downside I have seen so far. I have absolutely no complaints at all. I wish more companies were like this and I wish they hired more people like Ray.
