“Peak Running in La Grange is a fantastic shoe/running store. I have had a positive experience each of the five times I have shopped in there. None more positive than over the past weekend, with sales associate/Megan.Megan personified what customer service is all about on both days (Saturday; Sunday) I entered Peak Running. On Saturday, she was a major help in exchanging a pair of shoes for a better pair of shoes (at least for I was looking for).The pair of shoes that was coming my way was not to arrive until Sunday. Megan promptly called me when they arrived, and in finishing off her all-world weekend performance, she waited 5-10 minutes past closing time to accede my request, as I was coming from far away. Hence, I was able to get my shoes on Sunday as opposed to Monday.Thanks again, Megan!”

The associate was so helpful (unfortunately I've since forgotten his name) and I got to wear my new kicks out of the store so that they could recycle my old sneakers. “It seems this place has some poor reviews from people who had a bad experience online, but by going in the store I had the complete opposite experience. My visit was short, considering I knew I wanted an as authentic as it gets Bedard sweater. The person who helped me was knowledgeable and passionate about the product. They claim that they send the sweaters directly to the official Blackhawks stitching company as well, something you won't find with fanatics or other brands. In fact, the only other site I found that offers that takes 5-6 weeks to ship out. I won't be going anywhere else when I'm in the market for some more gear!”
“I had the BEST experience at King Keyser! I learned from last year that rental lines at ski resorts can sometimes leave you waiting for 3 hours (not an experience I want to have again). So this year, I went to King Keyser to rent equipment for my family. What an incredible experience. Jim and his team took great care of us, making sure we had exactly what we needed! We also left with some incredible new winter boots and new snowpants, their inventory was great! When we got to the ski resort, we got our passes and were on our way at the slopes! No more stress and frustration in the rental line! King Keyser is the best!!!”
“They are great here, maybe too great! I will explain: I haven't bowled in many years and decided to do it again with my wife. I was a customer over 20 years ago... After getting fitted last week, she was frustrated yesterday with 6 gutters in a row! She swore the ball was too heavy. After meeting with Lynn, he assured her the ball was not too heavy, all she needed was a wrist brace. Luckily I had filmed a few of her frames and showed them to Lynn. He slowed down the video and took time to analyze what she was doing wrong. He took 10 minutes to show her and gave some tips. Bottom line...she ended up beating me! Lol! Great Customer Service!”

“I bought online a Nike jacket size L it didn't fit my son. I went to Melrose Park kids Foot Locker and spoke with Vanessa B and Brittany they gave me many options how to exchange the jacket. The best one for me was to reorder it. Wow. Thank you. From now on I am only going to Melrose Park. I thought I had to do extra driving or mail it. Saved me money and time. Love it. Also I asked about the dunk gym shoes also told me where I can go and buy it or order it with them and have it sent to my house or them. Thank you so much for being friendly and informative .”

Love their return policy, as a mom I tend to forget or do not have time to go and return items or exchange them right away and at Famous footwear you don't just have 30days, even if it's been a longer they will gladly exchange for you as long as they have not been worn (obviously).”

“What a fantastic store at Yorktown! We were in town from Canada, and wanted to buy two bear shirts but they were only large and we needed medium. Once we got back to Canada, I called to see if there was any way we could have some shipped. The staff kept keeping me posted as to ways to have them sent to Canada. I received many calls from Yorktown. They got a hold of Lucy, at their warehouse, and she quickly set me up with the way to have them shipped to Canada. Your staff at Yorktown and the warehouse are phenomenal. Well done Clark Street!”
“This is the place to go if you want figure skates properly fitted. He took the time to ensure my daughter's skates fit her. As other reviews have mentioned you will need to make an appointment, it will be worth the wait. They also have used skates for sale.”

I have used previously for cracked screen but today they replaced entire glass on back, sides and front of phone and picked up / delivered on time; it was such a smooth service. Would highly recommend!”
