Not only one of the few shops left waxing nordic skis, they actually know how to properly wax nordic skis. I travel over an hour, one way, from the NW burbs to have my skis waxed here. Highly recommend!

Got fitted for my ski boots here by Jim. Such a great experience - I felt so comfortable, and Jim really took the time to explain everything and help me find the right boot for me. 10/10 experience.

I am a long term resident of Hinsdale and a biker. I didn't know King Keyser did bicycle repair and upgrades. They did great work on two of my bikes. The only criticism I have is that they need a bigger sign on the door to let people know they work on bicycles. Good Job
Founded in 1952, King Keyser is Chicago's oldest ski shop. We started our legacy in a little storefront in Hinsdale, Illinois. Back in the day, we carried everything from guns to hockey equipment, but soon our founders' passion for skiing influenced our inventory. All of a sudden, winter sport became King Keyser's primary focus.
