One of the workers offered me a shopping cart when he saw me struggling to carry my basket, and he and the manager even helped double check to make sure I was charged correctly before leaving when I forgot I picked two of the same of one of the bags of peanuts. Really nice people work here and I will definitely be back every chance I get.”
“This lil place is a DIAMOND in the ROUGH. I moved to the suburbs from the city about 8-9yrs ago and since i have had the hardest time finding carnitas anywhere in the suburbs. My SIL introduced my to this place in the summer and i absolutely LOVE this place on the weekends. I feel like i walked into a store on 26th street, feels like home and I LOVE IT. THE TAMALES ARE THE ? ALSO!”

A North Riverside woman has been charged with endangering her baby boy over the weekend.
Chicago Police officers say they found 27-year-old Jamie Riley drunkenly holding her 3-month-old infant son under her arm like a football and struggling with a stroller on the 5400 block of Harlem Avenue when they arrived at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
Riley, of the 2300 block of Burr Oak Ave., told police she had been drinking vodka. She and her husband were celebrating because the Illinois Department of children and Family Services had dropped an investigation into her son's safety.
Riley is charged with misdemeanor child endangerment, disorderly conduct and public intoxication.
Paramedics took the baby to MacNeal Hospital for a minor injury.
DCFS is investigating the incident and has taken custody of the boy.”
“I had an inquiry about a product over the phone (if they carry it at their store or not) and they were really nice and helpful in offering me other options. I have not visited yet but I will for sure in the future. I had called other stores too regarding that same product and they were quite rude so this little gesture was really nice of them.”
