“The Lombard Enterprise location is our go to place for local car rentals. In the past we used miscellaneous car rentals n the area, but since Jacob has been the manager here we have had amazing service and don't think of going anywhere else. I have an issue with fragrances and somehow he manages every time to provide me with a car that has no air freshener smell. We are waited on quickly and courteously, unlike previous experiences. The cars are in great condition. We are hooked.”
“These guys are fantastic! Pulled up with a car I just bought, the dealer had done nothing about a large scratch and low tire pressures. I was immediately greeted by one of the people in charge and she quickly got someone to check my tires. I mentioned getting a quote for what removing the scratch and instead she tells me they can buff it out right then and there. They did it in minutes and with great care and didn't even charge me a cent! Fantastic experience.”
“I needed a car last minute, as I had to take my into the shop. I called Enterprise in Countryside and they got me set up right away. The location was very busy as it was a Monday, so I had to wait a little. But all said and done I was very pleased!”

“I travel for a living and it's hard to find reliable rental car locations that never let me down. I can say with absolute confidence that this is the greatest Avis I've ever been to -- and I now rent here weekly for work. Joffrey goes WAY above and beyond to accommodate customers... undoubtedly one of the hardest working people I've ever encountered. This Avis location has a great fleet of cars; very well taken care of. Other Avis spots have ripped me off or dropped the ball on quality, but Joffrey keeps it transparent, honest and you can tell he genuinely values his customers. This is one of the FEW locations that actually has a local human answer the phone, instead of being sent to a call center overseas or to a corporate hotline.
*I am looking at these old reviews (presumably before he took over) and was surprised to see the Karen complaints. Maybe these people don't fully understand how rental car companies operate. I dunno. But you won't regret renting here, I'll guarantee you that.”

“Great service when I needed help in a pinch. Check-in was great, and Jonathon gave me his card in case I needed help when I had little margin for error. His car says Trainee but he was a pro. My return team on Monday was also great, including a smart intern. This experience made me want to go exclusively Enterprise for rentals.”

The vehicles are always nice, with a wide range of vans available, from a simple Ford Transit to tricked-out Mercedes Sprinters with lights, entertainment systems, and dedicated cargo areas.The staff is always friendly and professional, and I really look forward to each visit. They're always ready to help make your trip special and to attempt to make any issues right.On top of that, they're one of the few rental outfits that will allow you to tow a trailer, which is a huge boon for an independent music group like ourselves.Bands, church groups, road trips, personal rentals, they do it all with professional aplomb. “Excellent from start to finish. After picking up my car and everything going so smoothly I wanted to leave 5 stars, but I suspected from past rental experiences at O'hare there would be something that would go wrong, an overcharge or mysterious additions to my bill or surprised toll fines, etc. But I got the lowest price I could find online. I had no additional sales pushes, I had no uncomfortable waiting, or rude employees - in fact far from it- Angel was as friendly and competent as I had ever had. And then I had a clean, new car that I actually had ordered at the price I had ordered. I was confused why this was so good. When I returned the car I waited for the catch. There was nothing. I pulled in and right away was greeted with a smile. I assumed that the man didn't work there. But he did. Then to my astoundment, the shuttle which was parked inside the garage pulled up, picked up all my very heavy bags for me, put them in the shuttle with a pleasant a professional greeting and I was ready to go. The shuttle driver was excellent. Again, I waited for some additional charge to be added. I feel safe to say that this is the most unexpectedly great rental car experience that I can remember for a very long time - for sure in Chicago. I will only go to them next time.”

“Please get your rental truck/ van/ sprinter from this location!!!! The process is wayyyyy easier and only two forms of identification needed. Prices are easier on the pockets. They do not ask for your mortgage bills, 3 forms of identification and blood donations like enterprise rental. Their vehicles are practically new!!!!”

“Super impressed with my experience at this location! I was nervous about being able to get a minivan to drive the kiddies to Florida for Spring Break but Vickie put me at ease. She called about 2 weeks before my trip to check & make sure I still needed a van & let me know I’d be accommodated. The morning of pickup I called to confirm & she was already having the van cleaned, I was able to come a bit earlier to pick up. Vickie greeted me & even though we spoke only briefly a couple of times she knew exactly who I was when I walked in. Very personable! I received a SUPER nice Hybrid Pacifica w/leather, drove like a dream. Drop off was just as personable & pleasant with Vickie, she was very kind! 10/10 will be back next spring break if Vickie is still there! Hard to find a good customer service experience that reassuring especially during a high demand rental week like Spring Break. I never write reviews, but she should be recognized.”

Only complaint is to Hertz as a company - give this man some help. It’s ridiculous that they make one man do 100% of everything and then you go to other locations and they have way more staff than they could ever need. Thanks Edgar!”
