“There are time when they have great items on sale for a low price. Specially the tools. There are some items that need staff assistance and sometimes they are hard to find. I bought some 3/4 of boards and wanted to have it pre cut. I asked the register and had the guy paged twice. I waisted 23 mins for the guy to show up. Also the tool rental was great. One time i rented a carpet doctor vac. It worked really good. And the 50lb electric jack hammer worked right for my project. In general the store is great. They carry almost all tool brands for diy repairs. Great store.”

Reasonable prices.A year since I wrote this review, give or take, and I generally no longer go to Home Depot and Countryside Illinois because it appears multiple staff changes have caused the service in a variety of departments to diminish. They seem to be much more helpful at the local Menards. as long as I go to Home Depot in Countryside Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 AM and 4 PM I could expect reasonable help with better than average expertise. If I go at other times when I try not to if I go at all the staff working there to be poorly trained, particularly in lumber, plumbing, electricity, gardening, but the checkout is generally quick and easy.”
“We are lucky to have this place nearby. I usually go to Lucy’s in Zion for appliance parts as I am in Lake County. Though they stock the part I needed this time typically, they happened to be out of it. By backup (Abt), was out of stock too. They suggested Automatic Appliance Parts at the exact same time I found online they had 18 of the gas bake igniter for my range that I needed. They were also open at 8:30am on Saturday. I’m stock and open on Saturday mornings is already a huge bonus.When I walked in and gave them my stove model number and told them I needed an ignitor I thought they looked up the wrong one because he gave me an automatic discount on the part from what I knew the price was online.Local, open early and weekends, large stock of parts, good pricing and knowledgeable people, if you don’t treasure places like this, you are a lost consumer.They may become my go to source for appliance parts. They not only have their inventory online but accept Apple Pay too.I am at a loss trying to find a flaw here….”

“James Billeter is the man!!! Custom Appliance Wholesalers out of Lombard IL is the ONLY way to purchase appliances in Chicagoland and Surrounding Suburbs. My construction project was dirty and I had a few delays but Jim had my back and kept my appliances on standby the entire time. Once I was ready my appliances arrived the next business day. I asked them to install the appliances and that’s exactly what they did! Actually installed the appliances. They actually drilled a nice hole for the drain tube for the dishwasher and attached it to the disposal under the sink. They also cut out the vent hole for the microwave. Now the microwave actually vents out of the house!! They worked with my contractor to make sure the gas line was at the correct height for the stove as well. My hats off to the Custom Appliance installers!!! They took their time so everything fit perfectly. My last experience from a big box store installer was nothing like this. Big box stores only plug in. Take it from a real estate broker and real estate investor. I know the difference. Truth is a worked for a developer who builds custom homes a couple years ago and this is where he buys his appliances. Now I know why he buys from them. I won’t go anywhere else moving forward for appliances.”

“I am a little bit overdue for this review, but it's extremely important that I voice my feelings, which I hope are read, and rewarded by Sheen ??? the Northlake Store Manager. I had a flooring project, which started off on a bad note, mostly my fault, but was then corrected by Debbie from the Flooring Department, who did an OUTSTANDING job of helping me to get it back on track. She was a one of a kind professional and personable customer service rep who went ABOVE AND BEYOND, INCLUDING POST INSTALLATION FOLLOW UP. I can't say enough good things about her, and hope that she gets recognized accordingly. In addition, upon return of my excess materials, and a drawn out discussion, I have to also say that Claudia, and Manager Raquel, also went above and beyond to help me with the challenging credit to my original purchase. All these ladies are the reason that I, and hopefully thousands others, will do business with your store, because they truly make a difference, which I know is the reason that I will remain a committed customer.
