1900 S Harlem Ave, North Riverside“I've been a pretty frequent regular here for many years, but I'm thinking a *lot* of the shoppers here are too.In truth it's just a such a nice place and a lovely crew, there's too much love in my heart to not give it a good rating. I'm finding the inventory changes less and less every time I visit though, and after overhearing the selection is restocked and organized on a daily basis I've only been left to assume that close to anything that hasn't been sitting out for a while is getting nabbed up pretty competitively. Even a month or two's time they'll have out an entirely different seasonal entrance table, but so much of the rest of the store still manages to look so familiar that I'll surprise myself with how much I remember so clearly. As an avid thrifter It's been a much less frequent stop in my rotation unfortunately, but I could give it all the same praise and recommendation as these ratings I see before me have. Please do visit and support it!”
“Great place, went for a nail in the tire and guys were attentive and quick. I was out by 15 min, Spanish speaking too! I was happy to say it took quicker than I expected.”
10AM - 6PM
2517 W 59th St, Chicago“The entire "Staff" was a "Blessing" to me and my coworker. I just brought her and found so much for myself. They are "All of that (thid) and some. I will be back. A Beautiful selection of items.”
“Very cute thrift shop with an upscale feel. My sister, size S-M found many pieces of clothing to try. I, size XXL, found a few in my size but none that were my style unfortunately. I would recommend to my friends and we will be back on our next thrifting adventure to the city ?”
“Great resale shop. Really well organized, near, clean and displayed. I'll be going back frequently. Even the books are organized, so the Captain Underpants books aren't mixed in with cooking or adult fiction. A joy to shop here!”
“Always excited to bring something new snd nostalgic to my home and the feel of the hood where I grew up esp. ! ACKERMANNery Bakery. ALWAYS got My free sugar cookie when I came on Sat. Mornings to pick up fresh goodies for my mom. Better more peaceful times. You certainly wudnt send ur 7 y.o. alone to store these days however ur staff needs to stop following the customer and making them feel uncomfortable and policing the mask. Thank you”
“This thrift store is AMAZING. They price the items fairly and it has a great selection. I wear 3X and I was able to find cute items including 2 halloween dresses (a month back) and a couple of cute long sleeve shirts. The volunteer Diamond was so helpful...Thank you Diamond! I will def be back and I highly recommend you check it out as well!”
11AM - 6PM
103 S Grove Ave, Oak Park“Been shopping since ‘85. Now I volunteer. It is super fun. I would arrange my work schedule to shop here, because the sale dates are very limited. Put the dates on your calendar! Almost all volunteer run!!! They support several Oak Park Charities. It is a worthwhile cause and a blast to shop. It is an old mansion and each room has a different kind of merchandise. A real treasure hunt.”
“This vintage shop is beautifully curated. Not only are all of the items -- from antiques to vintage clothes --clean and pressed/polished, but they carry a range (and I mean a range!) of sizes. Prices are fair. Are they thrift store prices? No. But you're paying for the curation and care of solid vintage pieces. And, again--- the sizes!!!!”

305 W Hillgrove Ave, La Grange“Years a go received their help with dignify and emphatic. Pillars is wonderfull and this store good complement. Thanks so much I hope be there soon.Congratulations”
“My wife & I came in and love it! No pressure, humble and very well organized. Alberto is super friendly and makes you feel welcome! If you’re in the area definitely check it out!”
“So clean, organized, and cheap. They receive donations and really are giving back to those who need support. They even had a food pantry available. Good job. ??♀️??”
“I shop 2-3 times a week. I love my thrift finds weekly, the atmosphere and customer service. Highly recommend this resale shop. Go support the owner Tasha and her shop.”
“Upon first entering The Brown Elephant, you might feel that this is not your average Thrift store. In some sections, it is more organized than other stores of its kind. This store has more furniture than anything else, and the prices were a little higher than your average Thrift store. I would suggest checking in here every once in a while, as their inventory changes quickly. Also like to support this store because proceeds go to health screenings and support for the LGBTQ community”
“Hands down my favorite thrift shop. It’s not huge, but what it may lack in size more than makes up for quality. Fabulous, unique finds with excellent pricing and supports awesome cause. I will definitely support this establishment.”
“I was impressed with the unusual mostly vintage furnishings. The quality of fabrics and workmanship of the clothing and accessories was magnificent. I bought an assortment of incense on this first visit (unplanned) as I tried not to take home pieces I didn't have space to house. The service was welcoming and friendly. I'll visit again and again.”
“It's genuinely one of the better thrift shops. Why? Prices. The pricing is fantastic. Yes this place supports a charity, but they also aren't trying to gauge me for a used item with no return policy. I wish people would stop paying higher prices to other places that are charity driven. Because this model works. They get plenty of donations, they are constantly busy, I always spend a lot of money there. Also Kevin fixes watch batteries! It's perfect.”

5036-52, 2000, W 47th St, Chicago“I stop here most of the time to check out their ever changing selection of used books. So even if I get a dud, I only spent a nickel or dime. But this place is still pretty fun to walk around, with a musty smell that reminds me of my grandparent's basement. And since we usually drop stuff off here after garage sales (they will accept anything from clothing and furniture, to kids toys), it is always fun to see some of your old stuff recycled. (And yeah, it was hard not for me not to want to buy my old Rock-em-Sock-em Robots back!)”
“I have celebrate at the 2wice As Nice , family and friend functions at this location including my mom And God Child and my family only plans their events at 2wice As Nice ! Thank you for making our events so special., your service is the best and your hall is beautiful!Thank you!”

4871 95th St, Oak Lawn“friendly customer service from beginning to end! i only purchased a book this time but i’ll definitely be coming back. they have a great selection of everything.”
“This place has EVERYTHING! Clothes for the whole family, little and big things for the house, the kitchen, and entertainment. And the owners are super nice! They are always getting new things in so it's worth repeat visits on the regular”
“I love shopping here. There is always a good selection of women's and men's clothing and the prices are reasonable. They have clothes starting at $4 and also offer a designer collection if you are looking for something special. It truly is a Chicago treasure.”
“I wanted to say that being in Florida it is nice to be able to see items on Tik Tok for sale live whoever does that is very polite and goes the extra mile to show me what I am looking for. The Young lady is knowledgeable and professional she is very warm when she explains the stuff to me. You are very looking there to have suck a passionate employee that wants to help people. I hope she continues to show what you have online for us that don’t live within driving distance to your business thank you for taking the time read this.”

9321 S Western Ave, Chicago“Always a line when I pull in. However they move quickly. If you get out no problem to give bags however I have seen vehicles in front of me where they open their trunk and the clerk takes the items out”
10:30AM - 6PM
715 S 5th Ave, Maywood“My sister and I saw this place while driving down the street and we had to stop. There are so many nice, quality pieces in here. It's a treasure hunt and the owner is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.”
9AM - 9PM
6434 W 63rd St, Chicago“Wow! I'm impressed! The store is very nicely organized and clean! Also, the cashier was super nice! You don't find all those qualities in a thrift store! I'll be back again!”
“Went to this Goodwill store first time on Friday with my daughter and we loved it. Employees were friendly could be a little more proactive (training 101) but my sales rep was awesome and she offered me a rewards card to use for future items. It was nice to see that 'Everything had a place, and a Place for everything' nothing on the floors. However, I do suggest they keep a close eye on some of the clothing on the racks that have threadingloose some were torn seems like from hangers or mishandled from customers and those items should be removed. It is good to see that you show the quality and care for what you display and sale in your store because, it's the first and last impression of the day that can make an impact on your customers. I visit this store again.”
“Great location. Found lots of great stuff for great prices. I started reading the other reviews and got lost laughing at all the entitled spoiled brats complaining about the dumbest things. I recommend checking some of them out, very entertaining.”
