“JoAnn is one of my go to places as my profession is a knitwear creator and designer. Usually, I shop online and then pick it up. Every once in a while, I will go into the store and spend my time in the yarn section. The JoAnn in Norridge is OK in a pinch but if I really want to yarn shop, I'm heading to Countryside, Lombard or Elston Ave. Those yarn departments are much deeper.Also, the Norridge store has started asking for an ID or order number to pick up the order which I wouldn't mind if I saw them do it consistently for all customers. That's something I will be keeping an eye on.”

“From the moment I entered store and was greeted by a soft spoken woman who brought me to the sofa bed on display i didn’t feel pressured.I bought this one right away after she let me open, close, and lay down on the mattress. I went back the next day to buy two more items.Bob’s Furniture has much to choose from. The prices are surprisingly low compared to the other 5 stores I visited. “It was my first time at Floor&Decor, currently in the process of rehabbing a home and heard really great things about the store! Seriously can't believe it took me this long to step foot in here, by far the best pricing and great quality tile, stone etc you will find in Chicago. When you walk in it can be overwhelming because of how many incredible options there are, but that's where their incredible designers come in to play. On my first visit Jordann (designer) spent an hour or two walking through the wall/floor tile section with me and bringing my ideas and vision to life! She had so many great ideas and her patience and input was so valuable, I went in with an inspiration and left with concrete designs for all three bathrooms and backsplash of my kitchen. She made me feel so much better and excited about the entire process. I took my designs home and came back a few days later to make the purchase order and Jordann was off that day, but Taylor (designer) who is also amazing, was already up to date on my entire design concept, as Jordann had already filled her in and she helped execute some last minute changes and with processing our order. I'm really so impressed, bc not only are they great at what they do, their service is free! It's like getting an interior designer included in your tile purchase! I'm a Huge Fan!! Also shoutout to Daniel at the Pro Desk who also helped me get set up on my pro account, because if you work in the industry (contractor, realtor, etc.) you qualify for a pro account and can get points on your spend! He was super helpful and knowledgeable as well. Thank you to the team at the Addison location you guys make more impact than you might even realize!”

“I recently stopped in to look at lighting and found a wonderful display of ceiling fans and track lighting along with other lighting. . I had looked at a few other lighting stores and found Northwest had the best selection. Because of the selection and service I received, I purchased two ceiling fans and track lighting with beautiful pendants which Jessica suggested. I will go back when ready to order floor lamps. Jessica was a wonderful salesperson and was very helpful. She had great suggestions and was very good at getting back to me with questions I had. When the manufacturer of the track lighting sent an incorrect part, Northwest expedited the reorder of the part and had it delivered to my home.Also, late one evening when I called the store about the incorrect part, Jessica was with another customer and Thelma went out of her way to help me and called back well after the store's normal hours. She, too, offered exceptional customer service skills. I highly recommend this store.”

“This Hobby Lobby is located on the upstairs floor of the HIP. It has its own entrance, which makes parking and entering much more convenient. My main focus when shopping here is to find home/seasonal decor and they usually run great sales. I find the decor to be more reasonably priced than Michael's. My only complaint is that I have personally witnessed the managerial staff on more than one occasion talk down to their employees. One of the cashiers was so upset with how she was spoken to that she started asking customers if they could please let the manager on duty know that it's not okay to speak with staff like that, in front of customers or otherwise. Managerial staff should get some training on how to speak with and support employees in situations, instead of talking down to and ridiculing them.”
