“This was the first experience we had with First American and I have to say it went incredibly smooth. We had been dealing with another bank to try and get a loan for our patio and had nothing but run arounds. First Ammerican was friendly, kept us in the loop on everything, was responsive to our needs and was just an overall pleasure to work with. “Went here on Tuesday afternoon to close out two accounts. I was greeted by Faye upon entering and was told to have a seat and someone would assist me in 10 minutes. Less than 10 minutes later Faye escorted me to a private office and very efficiently closed both accounts. Faye was very professional and courteous. “Came into this branch after a rough time from another PNC branch, Staff from the very start showed compassion and support, Both The wonderful lady sitting at the front desk ( Who probably was a Branch Manager ) if she wasn't she should look into becoming one. Offered help by assisting the banker with what ever support would be needed as she handled my situation and her appointment as well . The lady at the front desk also went far and beyond and supported me by making sure to have everything that was a issue with my account handled the next business day, which she did . “At first, I accidentally tried to enter through the back door, which understandably was locked. It was a hot day, and I appreciated the friendly teller at the drive-through window who guided me over to the drive-thru speaker and then the front door. Thank goodness there were no cars waiting in the drive-thru lane at that time. Resisted the temptation to ask for a Big Mac and fries. When we finally broke into the bank (aka found the front door and walked in), we were pleasantly surprised to find a clean, welcoming, no-frills atmosphere. We had made an appointment in advance, and it's always nice when people are on time! Jenell was fast and friendly, and we appreciated how she presented information about different accounts both clearly and concisely. Will definitely keep Fifth Third Bank in mind for future banking needs.”

However, the privacy in the bank I would rate a zero because there is no separation in the cubicles. There was only 1 teller with a line. The online phone service is useless and unhelpful in alot of situations that customers experience, the wait, the constant routing, no assistance but a machine is unacceptable. With all the fraud, you cant reach anyone from that department to report it. This is very disappointing for as long as ive been with this bank. I am so inclined to change banks. If it wasnt for the staff, kent Pan, i would have done just that, he helped me during my issue nd helped to make things right. This doesnt include the fraud investigation dept they were very helpful. Other than that, the phone service needs an overhaul, there needs to be privacy between the bankers cubicles so others wont hear other customers personal information or issues.”

I mainly use branches in Aurora IL but we recently moved to different location and Ogden was the first on the Google Maps so I gave it a try on one Monday morning on 7/31/2023. I made an electronic appointment prior visit for as early as 9am at their opening hours. And not that I have OCD but they literally opened the doors at 9am exactly. I was greeted at the door by a well mannered gentleman, checked my name and confirmed appointment time. He was supposed to provide assistance after inquiring on reason for visit but he called in a guy name Christian to assist me.The young man was very nice and attentive, they were all well mannered at the branch & made eye contact. Made me feel comfortable with their knowledge addressing my issue. I made appointment because I had issues with Zelle, feeling I’ve been a victim of fraud. Rep Christian looked over the evidence I provided and confirmed indeed it was a fraudulent activity so he explained the does & don’ts on the matter and immediately delved in the issue, walking me step by step through the whole process.Not only that I was relieved to hear that their fraud department team has already been monitoring activity as such and emphasized their attention on my case on. I have yet to hear results about the resolution, and I really hope it’s in my favor because it should take about 24 business/hrs to process but all in all I was very happy with the services provided at this location working with rep Christian.Great job guys. Will definitely come back!”
