Worst bank ever. They couldn’t even close my accounts when I wanted to move my money elsewhere. They forced me to do business with them that way. Closed my account several times, then realized it was reopened and I was being charged for service fees. Nobody knows what tf they’re doing and it’s impossible to get anything done. They froze my account for two different instances, both times taking over a week to work out. Just walk away and save yourself the headache. You’re better off with your money in a mattress.

This place has rude bankers that don’t care about your problem. I went in here regarding a transaction issue and the banker was clearly not interested in helping and making it seem like it was my fault .Worst experience ever, if you can go to the one in Crystal lake, the bankers their are a little better

I have been a customer for almost 30 years (back when it was still Harris Bank). I have not always had a good experience with the McHenry bank. Then I found Martha at that branch. She is wonderful! She has been my go-to for several years. Very personable and incredibly knowledgeable about all their products. She returns calls and always looked out for what was in my best interest. She even remembered when a CD came due. I would highly recommend Martha S. in McHenry!

Rude and unprofessional behavior today. I needed help with my debit card because it was compromised. I got a new card but trying to ask a question for help was difficult. He didn’t want to take anytime to help.

I have always been so impressed with the customer service at this bank! Everyone has always been so pleasant. They are always looking out for my best interest. For example, they explained to me that by switching to a different checking account, I could get free checks! Whenever I have an issue or question, they always help!

One lady at the local branch is trying to help but overall we are getting the run around. When we tried to refinance, at one point the HELC department told us that the department we needed to deal with did not have phones. Yes. That is what we were told. That ordeal is now over. Now, my mother in law needs statements for the nursing home. Again, that department doesn't have phones. We must mail in a form and receive a fax takin up to 5 weeks. Time is critical in this situation. A separate instance from the above situation. Another department with no phones, we are told. Don't use BMO Harris. They don't have phones apparently. Talk about a run around. This is beyond ridiculous. It is 2021 and they still do not provide phones to certain departments. Personally, I think I'm being lied to but I don't have proof.

This bank is the worst READ WHYI was taking a vacation to Florida I spent $2000 on plane tickets and hotel rooms and I was relying on my checking account with BMO Harris to pay for the whole vacation when I got to Florida I tried renting a car and they told me that my account is canceledI tried calling customer service and they told me that my account is canceled but they cannot tell me why I was told that they have to reach out to another departmentThey did reach out to that apartment and that department told me that they would call me back it’s been five days and they have not called me backI called the branch in McHenry today and they told me that the manager Jess will call me back that was two hours ago she still never called me backI then called back and asked a bank teller if I can just come there and pick up my money so I can wipe my hands clean from this bank and they told me that I cannot pick up my moneySo bottom line my account is canceled even though I never canceled it and no one will tell me why not anyone at the bank or anyone at customer service or even a customer service manager and I’m also not allowed to pick up my moneySo that’s why this bank is horrible do not trust them with your money because they will cancel your account and never give it back to you and never tell you whyThis bank is not American this feels like a bank that Hitler is running
