This was 3 years before I even met my husband. The day of, the team was on point with everything and readily available to assist with anything needed. Max, our DJ, executed our vibe for the party and kept everyone dancing all night long. “The Taíno exhibit is excellently curated. I appreciate how they are able to connect common phrases with the culture of the indigenous people. I never fully appreciated the impact that the indigenous people had to Puerto Rico until I saw this exhibit. Furthermore, I love the installations outside, and Boricua who has been to the island will immediately recognize the CouQui sounds playing from the speakers. I also appreciated the staff, especially the director of development. She was so knowledgeable and had such passion for art and Puerto Rican culture. Please give her a raise.”

“Create your Space Studio is such a magical space to hold classes. I have been holding my group breathwork classes here and it is just perfect. The space is clean, bright, cheerful and has a wonderful sound system, lighting, and two clean bathrooms. Jackie, the owner, is organized, responsive, helpful and makes booking and renting the space a pleasure. I am so happy I found this incredible shared rental space in the neighborhood to hold my classes and build community. It's perfect!”

“I haven't visited this park in over five years. We hiked for two hours. My friend Andrea led the hike. It was very peaceful and clean. They even have a black- owned smoothie bar at the entrance of the stairs. I will definitely visit again.”
“If you need to get out the house and work elsewhere this is the place to go!! Their drinks are strong and tasty and they have seasonal drinks as well! What I was surprised about was that they also have a cocktail menu, because it's 5'o'clock somewhere right?! My son really liked their frozen hot chocolate and wants to go back for more! It's just a nice industrial space that anyone would like to hang out at!!”
“Used to bring my children here when they were little. Brought them back for a trip down memory lane. Slides, climbing area and hiking trails. Also have bike trails. Nice picnic area”
“Lake Katherine is amazing. My wife and I take our son for walks over there. You can walk around and view nature. They have a monarch butterfly exhibit that's open in the spring/summer that kids will absolutely love. You can go canoeing in the lake and watch the swans which would be a perfect date with that special someone if you're into that kind of things also with amazing views of wildlife, wild plants, a community garden hidden away in the back that people plant and grow veggies and plants for the local pantry. They have a small book library you can borrow from but please take one, give one if you can. Lake Katherine has a great experience and I'm sure anyone would love it..”
“I can only comment from the perspective of being a guest at a party (well my kid was).The biggest takeaway was "Wow! That seemed so easy.'"It had all the charm of the at home personalized parties I attended as a child (that I don't have the room to recreate in a city house) mixed with the organization and experience of professionals who are used to hosting gatherings of children.I've been to other spaces that did an ok job, but it felt like we were on a party conveyer belt and the staff was just counting down the moments until they could leave. Purple Monkey Playroom was the opposite. It was structured, but not oppressively so. The employee seemed like she was honestly invested in the event running smoothly and everyone having a good time.Total win/win situation.The kids had fun, the hostess had fun, the other parents had fun!This is where I will go for our next party!”
“We had our wedding there on 01.26.2024 at 07:00 PM. The event was phenomenal, and the staff were amazing. We were so stressed about the wedding, and we had many happy and sad moments. Jose and his team supported us in getting our cake, decorating the place (picking out our colors), and having everyone set up accordingly (our vendors included).The staff was amazing, and the setup was awesome! Payments were smooth and very streamlined, and we liked the reminders because they kept us on track to ensure we had everything paid off before the event. The food was delicious, and both our families were happy about the food. We had sweets brought out after the food and that was awesome. The venue was very clean, and the place was organized.The bartenders were knowledgeable and helpful with the drinks and for those that were too intoxicated during our wedding, the bartenders were quick to cut them off and offer water instead. The servers were professional, and everyone was kind and friendly! Thank you so much for helping us with our wedding! We were happy that you could share this moment with us!”
