“Excellent first experience with Kipp's this week. They got my snowblower back up and running with fast turnaround time. The mechanics are detailed and thoughtful. For example, the quick-release thumbscrew on my handlebar had long been replaced with just a nut & bolt. Not ideal when you need to quickly collapse the handle for transportation.When they returned it I was surprised to notice they put on a new thumbscrew! Small thing, but I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. Thank you guys!”

“I have to give this Ace Hardware a thumbs up! I am so glad that they are still in my area and haven't succumbed like so many smaller business entities. I had to replace the cartridge in my single handle shower faucet and after 3 trips there (and so many offers of guidance) I have to say I successfully completed the job with an outlay of less than $100. I'm sure that this saved me a lot from calling out a plumber (in addition to the fact I wouldn't have been able to use my shower until someone came out)! The staff is always so kind and helpful there. I know I probably pay a bit more for the convenience of having them close to my home, but it is well worth it when you know you are going to get assistance with whatever household task you are endeavoring to fix on your own!”

“What's not to love when the conversation deals with inexpensive tools, gadgets and the like. It's possible many of their goods are produced overseas and if that's a bother, seek out online whiteboards that discuss all the American made items. Stopped in randomly to look around. Found a handy tool to clear a clogged sink(in seconds), a ridiculous amount of rubber bands and a set of tool box accessories, all of which were on sale. There is always some sort of price reductions on useful items you may not (necessarily) need but could have use for one day. With that said, also got some solar pathway pucks for the yard. As seen on TV quality. If you have one of these local to you, it's worth joining their loyalty perks program so you stay up-to-date on price breaks. If you're in the services/ trades, they have many of your needs and offer used equipment for sale.”

No retail establishment will ever be perfect nor can it be, but I still appreciate this Menards for my various home maintenance needs.Just recently located in the parking lot of this Menards (December, 2023) there was a Mexican food truck by the name of The Gorditas Tacos.They have the best Cabeza tacos out of all of Chicagoland that we have tried to date!My fiancé and I have been trying Mexican food throughout Chicagoland for years and out of all of Chicago and the suburbs, this food truck has made the very best Cabeza tacos!I cannot find them on Google, but have requested an addition of this food truck to Google Maps.”
