I was planning to drive out to Staples much farther away to get some because I needed a set to archive my 2023 planner because my current set is now being used for my 2024 planner (I'm a nerd and save all my old planners as though they were journals). Office Depot came through for me and I was able to get exactly what I needed for much less than any of the fancy planner/stationery companies on the internet.”

“I had a wonderful experience at this Office Depot in January 2022. Sydney and Melony in the copy and print department were wonderful! I sent a Calendar to be printed and I had forgotten to update all of the years to 2022 except for the first page. Sydney and Melony called me to see if I had made a mistake, and when I didn't answer they proactively updated all of the years, which was perfect! I honestly never would've expected this level of service from the Office Depot copy and print service, but Sydney and Melony really went above and beyond. Thank you so much!”

“This is a good store. They honor warranties even for things that technically. Don't have a warranty screen protectors. And watches are different and when I brought my old watch screen protector in even though they didn't mean to. They did the exchange which I thought was nice of them. “It’s so happened that the ps5 controller that came along with the box when my cousin purchased a console for me as a birthday gift it was amongst the batch that were prone to technical issues. So when it became faulty after about seven months of play. I watched several YouTube DIY repair attempts on how to fix it, I eventually tossed it aside and acquired a replacement. Then a little bird whispered to me that Sony replaces controllers that fall within a certain serial number which were poorly manufactured.However, they required specific details like receipt before approving the replacement process. This wouldn’t have been a problem if I purchased the console myself. My cousin had lost the receipt and said I should take heart and just buy another controller.I asked him where he purchased the console and he told me the Best Buy East Roosevelt, Chicago. I took my time to plan and call since I knew the location and the date of purchase was around my birthday.I dialed Best Buy Roosevelt, spoke to a very polite Erica, who asked for me several details? I was able to provide just a few and she sent me the email with the receipt which Sony required for a replacement.I’m so happy to tell you that the replacement has arrived and I now have a brand new controller. Thanks to an Erica & BestBuy Roosevelt.”

“First purchase. Item is unobtainium. Nowhere else in the country has any in stock and they were selling cheaper than I've ever seen it. I had to read over it several times to make sure I wasn't imagining things. This was around 8pm Eastern time. Within 30 minutes I get an email the order has shipped. That immediately raised some red flags. They didn't provide a tracking number but I checked the Fedex app and sure enough a label was created.I know there's a lot of negative reviews and this probably looks like a fake one but if you see my other reviews I am no stranger to writing really scathing 1 star reviews when it's warranted. I think I see what the problem is here. For starters, they're drop shipping. At least they did with my order. Less control over order fulfillment. And someone else brought up that they are requiring signature. On my order, they wrote in the address line 2 space "Signature Required" but they didn't actually select that option for the shipment. It was delivered, like practically all online orders, without a signature despite it saying signature required on the label. I don't know what they're trying to do with that. Maybe get signature service without paying for it but either way, there may be some truth to those other reviews.Posted July 2022. No customer service was required. Everything is subject to change without notice. Using a virtual card with auto locking feature isn't a bad idea given the iffy reviews but I'd order again.”

“i was savagly attacked at the best buy at5425 w touhy skokie.a homless man who best buy allows to stay there and play computers .i was leaving the store when a black man 30 years old cut me off with i divi bike and demanded money i told him i had none , and he attacked me with no security from best buy coming to help. the skokie police were great as the arrested him as i placed charges. went back for the last time to best buy to pickup my computer today. thw manager said the same guy was in there today playing computers. i was outraged, thwy release this savage, and best buy welcomes him back in. his stolen bike is there and his clothes. i wouldnt go to best buy ever again. i guess this savage means more to them ,then paying customers. “Always a fun place to visit and destroy any budget you previously set. I personally don't like having laptops or TVs shipped. Best Buy offers a great alternative to online shopping where u can check out what you're buying. In an era where stores seem to have less inventory reducing overhead that doesn't seem to happen here. Things do get sold out but inventory comes in several times a week.If you ever have an issue or something you feel you're not getting the response you expect just see a member of management. Speaking from a personal experience management values the customer and goes out of their way to make every experience the Best Buy possible.”

My next stop was Computer Drive, an authorized Lenovo repair center. Although the process was slow and painstaking, Carlos, an amazing technician, was able to bring my laptop back to life. He resolved every issue and provided good coaching and encouragement for me, an admitted tech dinosaur. “Wanted to change from iPhone 14 Pro Max to a standard 15 but had a little bit of a weird situation in trying to do so. Antoine (sorry if I spelled your name wrong!) was super efficient, helpful, kind, and most of all, successful. They were able to get me in and out relatively quickly (given all the updates necessary on the new phone) even on Black Friday. The help I received at the "staging table," I'll call it, was also top tier. Multiple people came around to make sure I was doing well and assisted in any way they could to speed up the process. Pro experience.”
