“Awesome shop. We broke down 6 hours from home on a family trip and they were able to squeeze us in to diagnose our truck. Once we figured out it needed major work they helped us get to a hotel so we could work other vehicle arrangements. I flew back into town a few weeks later to pick up the truck and they even picked me up from the local metro station. They were honest with the engine repairs and kept us updated the whole time.”

From the very start of the insurance claims process, Tamera was a TRUE GEM!! She was pleasant, knowledgeable, and made the process simple! Once we were able to get the car in for repairs, they were accessible, provided regular updates, were responsive to our calls and questions, and ensured that everything went smoothly. And they were FAST!! Brandon was AWESOME with keeping us posted throughout the entire repair process. “I had the best experience here. I work in Highland but live out of town and my belt on my tire was either broken or something causing my car to vibrate. Called Larry's to get a quote on 4 new tires and they were very reasonable. They did not carry them in stock but had them delivered that afternoon and installed later that afternoon. I was very impressed with the professionalism and am going to get tires for my other two vehicles there.”

“While driving cross country, our truck suddenly made an indistinguishable screeching sound. St. Jacob Automotive was the closest repair shop and we called Brad. Brad was glad to help and spent time driving around the block to replicate the sound. He called the nearest dealership and arrange for our repair. He wouldn’t accept compensation for his time. We are so thankful for his assistance. What was a scary situation for an out of town family with small kids and a dog in tow, was made very manageable by Brad at St. Jacob Automotive.”

Brought my BMW in for A/C blowing warm, got an accurate price quote, and was fixed the very next day, only because the compressor wasn't on hand for a same-day fix. A/C is ice cold now. Initially had to make an appointment and wait a few days to be seen, but it makes sense that they get a lot of business because they're good at what they do.”

“Hit a deer? Go HERE!!! These guys do GREAT work! I had a Ford Ranger that ended up with a bent frame because someone t-boned me. South Side did such an awesome job that when I looked at trading it, they couldn't tell. Over the years, I've hit quite a few deer, and these guys always do a high quality job, but without overinflated prices. Honest and hard working!”
“John Chaffee is a great salesperson. He'll make time if you just come in or you can call him to get an appointment. When it comes to actually buying your vehicle he takes the time to wall you through everything and is honest the entire process.Once you have your vehicle the maintenance department is just as good. Good prices on your basic things like oil changes as well as if you need parts.Overall a very good, low stress buying experience. Bought 4 vehicles from them and working on getting a fifth as I write this.”
“Was a pleasure working w/ Adam to arrange work. He was very polite & patient to consider carefully what I needed & expected for my VW Jetta. I am probably one of the more “detailed” customers engaged intimately into mfg recommended maintenance, repair & circumstances involving all the machines I’ve owned & managed over many years. I received prompt text updates during/after service. Adam was able to answer all questions sufficiently. We collaborated very well to address only the things required, align on all aspects of vehicle health/status. Actual costs of service aligned with estimates. I felt Keith’s assessment of the car’s condition was accurate and well substantiated. Adam arranged a drive w/ a tech to evaluate further a suspect transmission bearing failure, encouraging some technical research to discover potential root causes and gravity of what this potential might mean in the health & longevity of the car. I am looking for a capable, trusted resource to partner with me in keeping all my VW cars in good shape. I am feeing confident in Keith’s so far. “I called Jascur, fuming mad about something broken on my kids new (to her) car that Walmart blamed on the last person who changed the oil. I did research and that was Jascur. Well, turns out Jascur did NOT do said thing. The owner of Jascur was still SO kind to me and took the time out of his day RIGHT THEN to come look at my kids car at Walmart and take care of the issue EVEN THOUGH HE WASN'T EVEN AT FAULT! That is amazing customer service! We will be using him from now on. My dad even said he is going to drive the 45 minutes to use him from now on! You really can’t get much better service than that. Long winded, but the owner of Jascur is a wonderful man and capable of dealing with super overwhelmed, freaked out, dramatic women like me. Bravo. Lol”

New Baden auto body towed the vehicle put the spare on and they were professional, timely, and affordable They came out when other companies in the area wouldn’t.
