“Dave is now my go to guy. Another local hot rod shop did a brake job and carb tune on my '67 Camaro last summer, but the brakes were thumping so I contacted Keister's to inspect. Dave went through the entire system and found missing brake parts, and now they're smooth and reliable. I knew the master cylinder was leaking and had it replaced, too. He also tuned the too rich carb and repaired a trans leak. My Camaro has NEVER RUN BETTER ! “This is the best, friendliest, and most reasonable shop I've ever been to! My truck broke an upper ball joint while I was going down 80 and caused major damage. The tow truck company i called actually lined me up with them. I had to have my truck that evening for work and they said no problem. The truck was dropped off around 10 am, and I picked it back up by 4 pm! Tyler, Mike, and the rest of the crew are amazing! Very friendly and accommodating. I Recently had my Jeep wrangler window replaced. After the window was repaired i noticed a whistle that sounded different than a bad seal but difficult to pinpoint.
I appreciated the time they took to work with me to pinpoint the problem. It took a little longer to find - but they were committed to seeing it resolved.
The process led to them reinstalling the window with a new bead of adhesive.
The four star rating isn’t just for the replacement window (that should be the baseline standard) it was for the customer service and attention offered to get it right when something was wrong.”
“We made a long drive because of the large volume of positive reviews and our high expectations were met. We had a scheduled appointment and worked with Dan. He was very considerate, straightforward, and did not try to push anything on us. He also gave us plenty of space to discuss our decision privately. In the end we walked away with a good trade-in value and deal on the vehicle purchased. Overall we are pleased with the service and experience. Would recommend.
Side note: the coffee machine has a chai latte option which was a nice plus while waiting for the paperwork.”

“I have been buying cars from Darcy GMC for many many years, I've dealt with a few different sales guys there when purchasing my vehicles, Luke is the absolute best bar none! And now my recent purchase was done with Mitch helping me out , from start to finish, he knew every single option that my Buick LaCrosse had on it. The crew gets me in and out quickly for oil changes, helps me fill my tires up in the winter whenever needed, change lights, and super helpful. One mistake happened years ago on my car and they’ve taken care of me since.

“We had a camper that was having problems with bearings over heating. A shop worked on it twice and the trailer still had issues with the bearings getting hot. We called Frank and he got us in a day before we were supposed to leave for vacation. They don't usually work on pull behind campers but got out camper sorted out. The bearings used to overheat on 30min drives and now we've been on 6.5 hour trips and bearings are cold.”

“I looked up this shop after being told by Zabor Auto in Crest Hill that I was needing both rear wheel bearings replaced. I talked to Bill initially about the rear passenger bearing because the rear driver had been replaced, 1k for parts and labor. Bill quoted me a price that was very reasonable, I made it there, they lifted the car, called me in the bay and said, hey, did they show you how bad the tires are. When I saw them I couldn’t believe how in such bad shape they were in. So now I’m looking at the tires, some parts bald, pieces of the belts exposed and all the noise I’m hearing is coming from the rear. So one of their techs, Alex, takes me for a test drive to see if he can hear any bearing noise. The noise we were hearing was primarily from tire wear and tear and broken belts. They checked the wheels again, tires are on the car solid with no play in them at all. So we go with replacing the tires. Once Alex was done with the install he takes the car out. I’m thinking the worst, that not only I’m about to pay for these tires, but I’m still gonna hear this noise. Alex comes in the shop and says that the noise is gone. I pay for the tires, get the key, put the car in gear and merging into traffic and the silence was beautiful. I appreciate them for looking at the obvious issue which were the tires. I don’t understand why the tech at Zabor didn’t look at the tires. This tech has worked on my car before and not once mentioned how bad my tires were and did no troubleshooting on any level. Yeah the tires were more than the bearing but my issue has been resolved. Grateful.”
