Nope it was just a bunch of frozen snow stuck in my heat shield, they also found a coolant leak and fixed it. Pg and gosia took care of me and were both very very nice. “These guys are awesome!! We were in the area for a hockey tournament from Erie PA and had a really bad brake issue. Even though they didn't have any openings they squeezed us in! We called them on a Friday night at 4:30... and they had our car done by 9:45 Saturday morning! Incredibly nice staff (JR.) And owner. I wish this shop was in Erie so we could use them all the time. The shop was able to locate a very strong lead on what could be wrong with my transmission, and they were able to provide exact numbers.The service was extraordinary. As someone who has done nearly every bit of repairs and maintenance on their own vehicle, it’s hard to trust someone with your vehicle. Chris, the service writer at the front desk was a great guy. A lot of shops you go to, you get someone know it all guy who usually gives you attitude. Chris was definitely not that. “My husband's '13 Suburban has been our "go to" car for all sorts of adventures! We've taken it on all the road trips, most recently to South Dakota to Colorado and back. He got his moneys worth on the car, but we weren't ready to say "buy" (pun intended) when the transmission started to slip and drive weird. In comes Trans-O-Matic to save our fun bus! Dominic was a great guy. He was upfront and professional about the process and estimated pricing. We dropped off the car so they could have enough time to evaluate it and get a rough quote to us. Being that a new (or used) car would cost far more than a transmission rebuild or new transmission, we opted for Trans-O-Matic to work their trans-o-magic. Dominic gave us a quote on the repair time and he was really good with it! It took a couple of extra days to flush the trans clean, which we greatly appreciate! There was good communication and Dominic was transparent throughout the repair. The pricing was very fair! The car was nice and clean at pick up! Thanks Trans-O-Matic and Dominic for bring more life back to our "Family Fun Bus!" Now we are excited about our next adventure and know we'll get there without car trans problems!”

“I took my 2007 Chevy Suburban here due to low oil pressure problems I had, I was constantly losing oil due to a rear main seal leak, I also had a rough idle, and my car would shake when not in motion due to lifters, springs, and other engine parts being old, corroded, and damaged. “I take all 4 of my cars here and won’t take them anywhere else. Waiting room is spotless and the shop is as well. Dimitri is so honest and never tries to push anything I don’t need like a dealer typically does. Prices are very reasonable as well unlike a dealer. All 4 are higher end vehicles that are higher maintenance and pricey repairs which, definitely add up over time. I know whatever he’s suggesting is something my car needs and trust him completely. My car comes back clean just as it was given. So professional, knowledgeable, and hard working. Will never go anywhere else.”

“Had both my vehicles worked on. The 85 Mercury needed fluids changed . And new belts . Oil leaking in air filter was fixed. And gave me update on other repairs I need. The 2011 Elantra need all fluids checked as well. And they also replaced radiator hose that was under warranty. Everything they did was excellent.”
