“Cary Grove Animal Hospital has been a wonderful vet for our guinea pigs. They are compassionate and provide excellent care. Both Dr. Fritz and Dr. Quinn are amazing and very knowledgeable when it comes to exotics. I’ll never forget how Dr. Fritz helped prolong our late piggie Cici’s life by performing two bladder stone surgeries. I would highly recommend them!”

“Started going to Dr. Mark when he first opened. Was always up front and honest with his diagnosis for the tough stuff and had a great "bedside" manner for the routine visits. Only reason we no longer go to see him is we moved out of state. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet!”
“I took my pups in for their first visit on the 14th of march. I have 2 pomeranians, female 10 months and male 8 months old. The reason for the visit, my 10 month old female has bilateral luxating patellas, grade 3. She was diagnosed by a different vet. The first suggested surgery in May when she is a year old and her growth plates closed. I went to the Shore for a second opinion. My second pup was along for the ride.I was so happy with the enthusiasm and care i recieved there. They loved my pups and the pups loved them. They were on board with my choice in holistic care for them and even helped me with recipes for homemade dog food.Outcome is no surgery at this time, and see how she progresses with exercise and mild manipulation. Essentially continue doing what I've been doing.The office is clean and does not smell like wet dog. They treat exotics as well as offering alternative therapy such as acupuncture and chiropractic care. All of this is the reason i will be transferring the care of my pups to them, even though it is not close to my home.”
“Such a great vet. I’ve taken two Guinea pigs here and the doctor is very knowledgeable, and he is always great at explaining the issues going on. Additionally, the front office staff are super kind and accommodating I would recommend Algonquin animal clinic to anyone looking for a vet you can trust. I’ve been to multiple vets and they weren’t bad but you can tell they really care about giving the best treatment possible here.”
“I have to say During my 50 years of dog ownership there are two great veterinarians that I have been fortunate to have the pleasure of having take care of my pets. This one is about Dr C. At fox valley aninal clinic and the support staff that works with him. This is a man that is caring, kind, passionate and knows his profession on several occasions he has saved my pets over the years at that I say Thank you. The support staff and assistants are just as dedicated as Dr C and whenever I do go there they are kind and considerate to our dogs needs Thank you I cannot say enough good things about FVAH , and I absolutely recommend them to take. Care of your animals medical needs”

“Dr. Harrison at Companion was terrific. Facility has helped me numerous times over phone. This was my first visit to internal medicine specialist. Dr. Harrison listened and communicated clearly. He was soft spoken and respectful. This facility offered best price for suggested procedures. Dr. Harrison was thoughtful, respectful, and helped my cat without burdening me with expected procedures because he honestly stated that, in my cat's case, they wouldn't provide additional information. He moved her on to appropriate medicine and she is doing great. Thank you!”
“Dr Mulder is great! We have 4 cats and 2 dogs that all see them for everything. The staff is super friendly, and always helpful. Even though she called our shepsky Tucker a chunk last visit, we still love her and the team! (Tucker was offended, but always gets over it quickly after doc gives him treats!) I've dealt with a lot of different vets over the years, and these guys are one of the easiest clinics to work with ever! Highly recommend.”
“dr durante has seen our rabbits and guinea pigs over the past two years and has been so helpful with education, information, and advice. he is open to offering suggestions if there is something we aren't 100% comfortable with or agreeable to, he will explain the "why's" and "how's" about the type of treatments that were discussed. highly recommend!”

“I want to express my mixed feelings about my recent experience at the animal hospital. Firstly, I must commend Dr. Kofoed for her exceptional professionalism and the lifesaving care she provided to our cat. Her expertise and kindness were truly remarkable.However, despite most of the staff being pleasant, my overall experience was soured by a significant lapse in communication and customer service. Four days after my cat's surgery, he developed diarrhea, prompting us to reach out to the hospital via email for guidance and to obtain our cat's records.Initially, we were met with a response from the front desk indicating they required authorization from the doctor to release the records, promising to relay our concerns to Dr. Kofoed. Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts to follow up, we received no further communication from the hospital.Days passed with no resolution, forcing us to leave messages before finally receiving a delayed response. Even then, the promised action to address our concerns never materialized. It was only after persistent efforts on our part that we were offered an appointment, which was accompanied by dismissive and unsympathetic behavior from the staff member we spoke with.Their lack of empathy and professionalism, particularly when we expressed our frustration and disappointment, was disheartening. To be blunt, the suggestion that we seek care elsewhere due to our dissatisfaction was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude.As a loyal customer who has invested a considerable amount—over $7000—in the care of our pet, I find this level of service unacceptable. Regardless of the exceptional care provided by Dr. Kofoed, the overall experience has been marred by inadequate communication and poor customer service. I hope that this feedback will prompt improvements in the hospital's procedures to ensure a more positive experience for future clients.”
“My senior gelding came in as an emergency on Friday night with colic. Dr. Moreauw cared for him all weekend and the staff were so kind and got him through it. She sent pictures to keep me updated and called at least twice a day to keep me posted on how he was doing. I could not have asked for more! Very grateful!”

“I’m incredibly pleased with VCA Noyes! We live in California, but our cats had to temporary stay with our family in Illinois while we were looking for a new house.When one of our cats had a recurring issue with her neck gland swelling, her guardian took her in and the veterinarian was very understanding and quickly prescribed the needed medication that always helps her.When months later, we got the cats back and our pet insurance had an issue processing the claim for the visit, I reached out to VCA Noyes and they were polite and quick to respond. The manager was super nice. She called me back, then immediately called Trupanion (our insurance) and resolved the issue.I couldn’t be happier with this place. Highly recommend VCA Noyes!”

“Coco has a heart murmur. We were very worried about her spay surgery. We live in Crystal Lake and went to Animal Medical Center in Lake Villa because we adopted her through Ruff Luck and it was free. It was a 45 min drive. The tech was super nice! Cinder, the resident cat, greeted us with her beautiful blue eyes=}. We dropped Coco off and 9am and picked her up at 2pm. She was a little sore for a day or two and back to herself in less than a week. This place is great then vet and the staff really care! Thank you!”
“Always able to get my Cheshire in for appointment. Really wish they would go back to actual in office visits not a fan of drop offs as it leaves so many unanswered questions which require additional calls. Unnecessary, it’s about money saddly”

It was heart breaking.Dr. Max and Heather were very empathetic, caring and supportive during an extremely emotional and upsetting time.
