I used them most recently to get my puppy neutered because my regular vet had an injury and wasn't able to do surgery for a while. They were over 10% more expensive than my usual vet. Granted, my usual vet has a much more modest space, but it's still clean and the staff is great. So if cost is no object.....”

“I took my pups in for their first visit on the 14th of march. I have 2 pomeranians, female 10 months and male 8 months old. The reason for the visit, my 10 month old female has bilateral luxating patellas, grade 3. She was diagnosed by a different vet. The first suggested surgery in May when she is a year old and her growth plates closed. I went to the Shore for a second opinion. My second pup was along for the ride.I was so happy with the enthusiasm and care i recieved there. They loved my pups and the pups loved them. They were on board with my choice in holistic care for them and even helped me with recipes for homemade dog food.Outcome is no surgery at this time, and see how she progresses with exercise and mild manipulation. Essentially continue doing what I've been doing.The office is clean and does not smell like wet dog. They treat exotics as well as offering alternative therapy such as acupuncture and chiropractic care. All of this is the reason i will be transferring the care of my pups to them, even though it is not close to my home.”

At fox valley aninal clinic and the support staff that works with him. “The entire staff at the hospital was extremely compassionate and kind. The were quick to respond and very easy to work with. We brought in our sick dog, Stu, this week and made the difficult decision to euthanize him. Dr. Burgess was very forthcoming with his prognosis and we appreciated that candor. Our previous vet had not been as realistic and forthcoming about him. We think it prolonged his suffering and gave us false hope. When we brought him in to say goodbye they were very thoughtful about our visit. They brought us directly into the room so we didn't have to go through the main entrance. They explained the entire process to us and gave us time to be with him. They sent us home with lots of support resources and memories. They took the time to print a picture of him and provided us with a memory book for us to write our favorite memories of him. It's the little things like that, that make this difficult time bearable.”

Even though she called our shepsky Tucker a chunk last visit, we still love her and the team! (Tucker was offended, but always gets over it quickly after doc gives him treats!) “We have been taking our dog here for almost 10 years. The experience is always pleasant but this most recent visit (12/26/22) was the best one we had. We saw a new vet there, Dr. Achille, she was wonderful! She explained everything so that I could understand it and didn't make me feel judged for declining certain things. She made it so that I felt like a good dog mom. I will continue to visit this facility and recommend others do the same! I also hope this vet sticks around for awhile, she is fantastic! “I want to express my mixed feelings about my recent experience at the animal hospital. Firstly, I must commend Dr. Kofoed for her exceptional professionalism and the lifesaving care she provided to our cat. Her expertise and kindness were truly remarkable.However, despite most of the staff being pleasant, my overall experience was soured by a significant lapse in communication and customer service. Four days after my cat's surgery, he developed diarrhea, prompting us to reach out to the hospital via email for guidance and to obtain our cat's records.Initially, we were met with a response from the front desk indicating they required authorization from the doctor to release the records, promising to relay our concerns to Dr. Kofoed. Unfortunately, despite repeated attempts to follow up, we received no further communication from the hospital.Days passed with no resolution, forcing us to leave messages before finally receiving a delayed response. Even then, the promised action to address our concerns never materialized. It was only after persistent efforts on our part that we were offered an appointment, which was accompanied by dismissive and unsympathetic behavior from the staff member we spoke with.Their lack of empathy and professionalism, particularly when we expressed our frustration and disappointment, was disheartening. To be blunt, the suggestion that we seek care elsewhere due to our dissatisfaction was not only unhelpful but also incredibly rude.As a loyal customer who has invested a considerable amount—over $7000—in the care of our pet, I find this level of service unacceptable. Regardless of the exceptional care provided by Dr. Kofoed, the overall experience has been marred by inadequate communication and poor customer service. I hope that this feedback will prompt improvements in the hospital's procedures to ensure a more positive experience for future clients.”
