“I purchased tires from Goodyear. After a disappointing experience at the Huntley location—where the customer service was severely lacking—I was relieved when Goodyear stepped in and redirected my tire installation to Auto Tech Centers in Crystal Lake.
From the moment the switch was made, the experience turned around. Bob, the manager, reached out right away to set up a new appointment. Although I missed his initial call, I called back and was impressed to find that his team was already fully briefed on the situation and ready to help. It was clear communication and professionalism were priorities here.
On the day of installation, I was helped by Adam, who was absolutely fantastic—professional, courteous, and incredibly helpful. Unlike the Huntley location, which incorrectly told me I needed a wheel lock key (prompting an unnecessary purchase from Honda), Adam actually went out to my car himself to check and confirmed that my vehicle didn’t require one. That level of care and honesty is rare and deeply appreciated.

“Normally I do mostly all of the diagnostics and repair work on my cars, unless its beyond my skill-set and I dont have the necessary tools to do the job. This week my car finally threw a code for the intermittent misfire and rough idle Ive had for the last few months, but due to a full knee replacement 2 wks ago, I cannot stand nor lean over a car engine right now to perform repairs. Thus, I brought my SS Camaro into RK Quality Services (for the first time) for an intermittent faulty and leaking cylinder-3 fuel iniector (Code P0203) and spoke to Rob at front desk about replacing it. Not only did he get the injector within a day and repair scheduled immediately, I was refreshingly surprised at how honest he was with the labor time estimate, having done them myself before.
For a first time experience here, I am extremely satisfied can say the positive reviews online are absolutely true. When I picked up my car, I was even made aware of another potential issue/part to keep an eye on that may be going bad in the near future based off of scans/readings of the ECU. Should the situation arise where I am unable again to work on my car, I will definitely be bringing it back to and trusting RK Quality Services with the repairs, and greatly appreciate everyone's efforts there!”

“We have been taking all our vehicles, both those for personal use and business vehicles, to RAM Auto for many years. We have always had excellent service! Roger can quickly diagnose the problems, orders parts if needed, and fixes whatever needs to be done. He communicates what things will cost upfront and his prices are always fair. When mice chewed through the electrical tape on my fuel injector harness, Roger told me that many auto makers, in an effort to save money and be environmentally responsible, now use soy based products wiring insulation and tape, which mice love to eat! Apparently this has been happening for about 25 years and the cost savings for the auto makers actually will cost consumers for the repairs for the damage that the mice might cause. GM, Honda, and others all use it. Honda is the only one who I could find that sells capsaicin infused electrical tape to deter the rodents. Not only did Roger replace the harness, but he covered all of the soy base tape with the hot pepper tape. He’s a great guy. I highly recommend going to RAM Auto. You’ll appreciate his friendly and professional service!”
“i needed to get basically a new (manual) transmission for my 2004 VW Passat. At the same time, the 2014 Kia Forte i gave my son blew out it's motor. Mark Decraene took care of everything for me, and both vehicles are running better than ever. It cost a pretty penny, but Mark made sure he got the highest quality parts for the least amount of dough. He kept me informed through the entire process, and his honesty and professionalism are remarkable in an industry that can easily take advantage of a car dumb-dumb like myself. Do yourself a favor and go to Decraens in Woodstock if you have engine trouble and want the job done right for a reasonable amount of paper. i couldn't recommend him more highly (well, maybe if he was a Sox fan instead of bleeding Cubbie blue)”
