“Couldn't find a listing for the branch in Naperville, so posting here. The one I visited is on Washington Street near Trader Joe's. I needed to do some banking. The old fashioned kind where you need to speak with an actual person, not an ATM. I popped into Busey and was greeted by a teller named Karyn Ross. She was awesome! Helped me with what I needed (thanks again Karyn!) and then gave me a gentle sales pitch about their bank. It's a new Midwest bank, and it felt very much like the kind of place you'd get good service like we did before the mega banks took over. Unfortunately we are moving out of state, otherwise Busey would have had a new customer! I recommend them!”

“I want to express my appreciation to Markeela McDonald, my banker at the Old PLank Trail Homer Glen Branch, who heard me and filed a complaint for me. I'm a founding member of OPT and it made me proud to be a part of this bank when it started. My checks have always had this printed on them. When I went to order new checks with Markeela's help, the order came back saying I'm a Founder of Wintrust Bank in Joliet. Not a big thing but it's the principal of the thing and I went to Markeela saying this is wrong. I never expected OPT under the Wintrust corporation to fix it. But Markeela McDonald made phone calls, was told it couldn't be fixed and then filed a complaint for me. It worked and I received new checks and a letter saying training to staff was provided to prevent this from happening. I made sure that I thanked her in person, and then to write this review to make sure you know that she is an efficient, determined, and caring staff member of your bank. When Old Plank Trail first opened, I appreciated that it felt like a friendly family bank that recognized its customers and could do anything the big banks can do. The staff at the Homer Glen branch, and especially Markeela McDonald, are wonderful representatives of this ideal.”

“My wife and I live in Homer Glen. We have been banking at the PNC for many years. More specifically, the PNC on 143rd st. Recently PNC decided to get rid of the bank tellers and you can't deal with a teller in the drive through either. They're open 9am to 5pm Monday - Friday. Closed on weekends. For people who work during the day, when can you do your bank here? We decided to go to First American Bank around the corner on Bell Road. What a difference. Full staff of tellers. You can go inside or through the drive through. They're also open on Saturdays until 1pm. My wife and I went in and met Jennifer, the manager. Jennifer is top quality management. Good people there. Took total care of us and got us set up to our new accounts. Hate to say goodbye PNC, but if you're not going to provide the service that customers need, sorry.”

“For the record, the reason that they don't answer the phone it's because they no longer have a receptionist since BMO took over this location. Also, because online banking exists now and you can do almost everything either online or calling their national number. If you need more help than that, then go in person ?

Claude is the best banker I've ever worked with and it's extremely helpful and kind. Don't let these reviews get to you... their staff is very competent, friendly, and good at what they do.”
