1920 Ontarioville Rd, Hanover Park“My dog had TPLO surgery at a vet in Chicago and then we came out here for her post surgery care and rehab. The vet was knowledgeable and kind, super great communication and explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and gave me her email in case I had more questions or needed to contact her directly. Also they provide tons of rehab services in house so I was able to plan out and schedule a bunch of different types of treatment really easily. Highly recommend!”
“This is the third time we’ve used their services and each time they have been very compassionate and empathetic! They are very professional and family owned which helps insure the best service available! Through our sadness and losing our Scotties we did not have to worry about their ashes being lost or contaminated. The owners Nick and GG are very responsive and willing to go the extra mile. I would highly recommend their services to anyone going thru this difficult time with their beloved pets ??? RIP Daniella ?”
“Eternal gratitude for more time with my dog isn't even close to enough. You see, he saved me. Brought joy to my world!
I've been bringing my little guy to Dr.'s Stram & Leo since I adopted him at around 9 months old. They have always been so good with him & to him. They take their time answering every question I have. They also explain every suggestion, sometimes twice! They always go above & beyond!
From Tricia in surgery to the wonderful care from Sam & Olivia - He ADORES his Olivia. Heather beautifully grooms him, them Kim and Sabrina take care of us up front. I love being there with them, like a family. So much love.
We just had our first serious issue in 12 years. He had a cystotomy to remove a bladder stone. ( They found it while BEING CAUTIOUS BEFORE ANESTHESIA for a teeth cleaning session ). They kept in close contact with me throughout the day. When I picked him up I thoroughly understood everything I needed to do. They checked on us every day for the next 4 days! He was doing amazing the very next day! Dr. Leo is an amazing surgeon who, like I said, has amazing people around him.
I'm a really anxious, worrisome person. I'm not the "ideal" pet owner a vet would want to deal with. They put all of my stuff aside & think of my baby. I'm really grateful for every one of the people at Elk Grove Pet Clinic.
I hear there are vets that are owned by corporations. Why take the chance of losing the love & individual care my dog gets here?
***Just ask yourself if you feel like your vet cares about your pet as if it were their own***

603 S Main St, Lombard“Taken 3 of my dogs here. One was limping for months and no one knew what to do except this vet. He said might be tumor pressing on nerve.
Told me to get MRI at Vet Specialty in BuffaloGrove. Land up being inoperable tumor in neck.”
“Years ago all 3 of my cats got sick at the same time. I was beside myself and I had originally taken them to my regular vet, College Station Cat clinic. I'm a senior citizen and I had very little money. He prescribed an antibiotic but a week later she was no better. I called him back and he said the antibiotics were supposed to be good for 10 days and he wouldn't prescribe anything more . I had called again trying to get an emergency apt and they refused to see me and my cat He kept trying to pressure me into having dental work done for over $500. I decided to get a second opinion. Glendale Animal Hospital saw me right away, they had a charity fund available and wrote off part of the vet bill. They were very kind, compassionate, and understanding. They really helped me when I was desperate where my Vet of many years acted like he couldn't be bothered.”
“My family has brought all our animals over the last few decades to this vet. We’ve had nothing but great experiences with them. I had to put down my childhood kitty last night, and the staff were absolutely wonderful. They know exactly how hard it is to lose a little member of your family. They were so sensitive and compassionate, and made a really terrible experience feel just a little bit easier. Thank you Arlington Veterinary.”
“I take my French bulldog to see Dr. Adam and can't recommend him enough. He always takes his time while visiting with us and explains everything thoroughly. I feel my pet is in great hands and that I am not being taken advantage of when it comes to paying the bill.”
“Been going here for years, with both my cat and my family's two older cats.Recently, both of our older cats had to be put down. The staff helped make the experience better by offering free paw prints ornaments of the cats that had passed away and fur clippings that I'll use in resin art.Thank you, Bartlett Animal Hospital.”
“We’ve gone to Lake Street for almost 10 years with our dog, Lola. Every person at Lake Street AH has been caring & wonderful. Add two 6 month old recently adopted kittens who both had some unexpected issues and although they were booked up, managed to squeeze them in. They diagnosed and prescribed with professionalism, and showed them compassion and love at the same time. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.”
“My 1st time there was both friendly & professional. My wait time was short in the waiting room & exam room.
Payton ( patient ) was examined w/ care & kindness & I left there feeling happy to be one of their clients.”
“The staff are always very helpful and friendly. They are bright hard workers, but still take the time to know their patients and their handlers. Dr. Fritz is fantastic. He has an unmatched bedside manner with nervous upset patients (like when my giant dog tries to find a place to hide in the exam room). Once he comes into the room, my dog just stays by Dr. Fritz while he’s being examined. I have had dogs all of my life (almost 45 years). So, I have a basis for comparison. I feel confident in the things that are suggested, advised etc. and I know that Dr. Fritz will make himself available to go over all test results and concerns. I also appreciate the realistic approach. I had some serious personal health issues following a fall and unlike my usual self, I fell off track with my dog’s maintenance medication. Dr. Fritz advised it would make more sense to get him back on track with the medication for a set time before running tests to learn the current status of the issue for which he needs the medication. Why put the dog through more stress? I was also referred to another very reputable veterinarian when my dog needed a service that was outside of their regular scope. I respect the confidence and humility that requires. Seriously, everyone I’ve dealt with there is well above average and are worth traveling for if needed. Finally, I recommend Harper Animal Hospital to anyone for any reason. I’ve had people say things back like, “they are expensive.” The truth of it is simple albeit a bit cliche, you get what you pay for.”

109 S Roselle Rd, Schaumburg“I have had only good experiences with this practice. The staff and the doctor have been very supportive, helpful and caring. The doctor was also mindful of cost . He also called back promptly when I had concerns.”

531 W Wise Rd, Schaumburg“I have been to a number of vets as I have lived in different places, but wise road is by far the best, and most thorough. We have been bringing our pets there for a number of years now and could not be more pleased with the care of everyone on their team. Both vets are incredibly knowledgeable and have kept our animals healthy and happy. A special shout-out to chuck, as he is always beyond helpful whenever I call or have a question. I live far into the city now, but will still make the commute every time to have my cats seen at wise road because of their quality of care and amazing service. Thank you Wise Road!”

“We absolutely love Knoll Animal Hospital! I am saddened that we did not discover Knoll sooner as we had such a wonderful experience. I am glad we had knoll for our senior/geriatric dog. They provide quality care and made his journey over the rainbow bridge as peaceful as possible. We miss our Mozzie so much. Knoll provided so much love and care with Mozzie’s journey. We got the most beautiful paw prints and keepsakes. One day we will be ready again for a furry friend and when that day arrives, we will be back at knoll. Thank you again so much for being there for us.”
“Dr Walsh and the vet assistance were very kind and easy to talk to about our older cat. They talked to us about a care plan to help resolve the issue before moving into the next phase of testing. An estimate was given so we knew what to expect if it comes down to further testing. They were clear with instructions and made us feel comfortable with the options given. Our last vet did not do those things. We are very happy they were referred to us.”
“It took me trying four different vets before feeling comfortable with Dewayne. They give your pet their full attention, with a Vet AND Tech both present for almost the entire visit.
It is not a sleek office. It smells musty. So be okay with that before going in.
I drive an hour from Chicago to visit here. They don't keep me waiting more than five minutes though so it might end up being faster than the city vets.
My sister takes her dog there, and she said that the office had to cancel on her once because another client had a pet having a life threatening emergency. So if you're someone who has a tightly managed schedule or will get angry if you are bumped this is not the place for you.”
“The Doctor he is just amazing and honest Doctor I ever met.
Even if I move away I will be going to this vet .
I really recommend.
Five stars indee”
“I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Pete & the entire staff. Dr. Pete worked me in on an emergency with a full schedule. He always puts his patients first. I couldn't be more grateful for Dr. Pete and Rand Road Animal Hospital. 100/10 would definitely recommend.”
“Sutton Road is the best animal hospital in the area for several reasons, and we've been to many specialists:
1) The doctor is exceptionally smart and caring. She recommended a new (approved late last year) drug for our cat that has enhanced his life.
2) These are the nicest staff/vet techs that I have even seen. It's a pleasure to come in.
3) The clinic itself is not chaotic. It's quiet, and you quickly move into a room. Great for skittish pets or ones that don't tolerate others.
4) The costs are truly reasonable, which is odd for a smaller group, but I believe this is because they prioritize care rather than gouging.
I love these guys and highly recommend them.”

35 Barrington Rd, South Barrington“Very clean. Professional and friendly staff! Easy to make appointments and good hours. A little pricey. I used them most recently to get my puppy neutered because my regular vet had an injury and wasn't able to do surgery for a while. They were over 10% more expensive than my usual vet. Granted, my usual vet has a much more modest space, but it's still clean and the staff is great. So if cost is no object.....”
“Fernanda and Virginia were the girls in the front desk. They were very helpful with all my questions. They were both very sweet. The provider helped me with all my concerns, she was kind and patient.”
“Dr. Zink and his staff were great! My dog Finley was treated there for regular vet care and a surgery and we have always been really pleased with the care he has received. We only stopped coming because we moved to Texas. Big shout out to Karen and Julie who treated Finley like he was their own when he was being boarded. Knowing I was leaving him somewhere safe and reliable made traveling easier. Prices are standard for vets and they try to do everything they can do help out such as vaccine discounts on certain days. We will miss it!”
“They were able to squeeze us in same day to see the doctor for an eye infection and inflamed rear end. Techs are always really great. Dr K did a great job explaining what we needed to do to get my boy feeling better.”
“This animal hospital has friendly personnel, great customer service and a convenient location. We have brought our cats here for several years and they are always patient and thorough in giving us information.”
8AM - 6PM
1744 W Algonquin Rd, Hoffman Estates“Dr. Brooks was fantastic! There are no words to describe the staff at Forest View. We had to bring our cat in last minute prior to vacation. They were attentive, descriptive, and spent time with us explaining next steps! We were so happy with the care they gave to Cheerio, we have switched to Forest View full time!”
12 - 8AM 6PM - 12AM
530 Dunham Rd, St. Charles“We had a traumatic experience finding a dead cat that had been attacked by someone's dog, and called all over the place late at night trying to find someone who could help us. After no luck with public services, we finally found Emergency Veterinary Services.
They were incredibly kind, compassionate, and handled finding the owners and taking care of the situation. Extremely grateful for them, and we'll keep them in mind when our own cats have late night emergencies.”
“We just took our youngest cat to get neutered this week and were amazed at the quality and humaneness of the care Leo received. Dr. Williams called us after the procedure and kept us informed at every step of the way. Our cat developed some symptoms while in recovery, which Dr. Williams took very seriously. We are SO GRATEFUL for her attentiveness and genuine kindness. We felt very confident that he was in good hands with Dr. Jeanine Williams. Highly recommend this clinic!”
“Dr. Sekowski is the best doctor that I have ever met for my fur baby. He has a lot of knowledge and spent a lot of time with us to explain everything. I couldn't be happier, and I will definitely recommend this doctor to more people. The best service I have received in years.”
“Our dog had acute hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. Dr. Garvey and the Hanover Park Animal Care Center did a great job providing treatment and care for our dog. Dr. Garvey and staff kept us informed during the process and helped ease our anxiety about our dog staying overnight for treatment.”
