10AM - 4PM
660 Vernon Ave, Glencoe“Where do I start? The staff was so professional and accommodating. They had a helpful answer to every question we asked and made it very clear that we were the priority. As the mother of the bride, I expected to be stressed, but I wasn't! This was truly a perfect setting for our family's wedding. Thank you, Firehouse!”
“A must see! Give yourself plenty of time to see this museum. Great displays telling the Holocaust stories. They do have guides to walk you through the displays. We haven't used them, but I'd recommend using them your first time through. I've been here 2 times and haven't taken enough time to see all in detail. Make sure you plan to see the 3D Holocaust survivor exhibit. It's a hologram of a survivor sitting on a chair telling their story. You can ask questions, and they answer. Very cool. They have a VR experience. I'd recommend you go to that. However, the technology needs upgrading. It's worth going to. Overall, highly recommend you visit and great for young adults to understand what really happened. Learn from history, so this never happens again.”
“My second home. Great classes, events and community options. There are a lot of different type of classes and workshops. You can even attend free events. Try out yoga, knitting or the drum circle.”
“It was AMAZING to see the Home Alone house. When we were there, over 50 people arrived. The big thing to remember is that that is someone's house, so be respectful. It was really cold to see the house even many many years later.”
“Excellent services. Great food. One draw back the speaker system was set so loud , you could not enjoy the Christmas event. For that reason, I would not have them host any of my events.”
“Fantastic Club! It has it all for families; Dining, Fitness, Swimming, Tennis, Golf, Paddle, Pickleball, Beach, Fishing, Boating, Lake, Club Parties, Sports Camp, Adult Lake Deck, Fitness Classes!”

1500 W Kennedy Rd, Lake Forest“My daughters wedding here on December 9, 2023 was perfection. The ambiance and sheer beauty of the mansion was the backdrop for her spectacular wedding. The on staff chef provided guests with top notch endless passed appetizers. Guests raved about the food throughout the evening. Service was impeccable.Thank you Armour House.”
“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”
“Awesome place to wind down and have a great time. The prices are reasonable compared to other places, and the food is delicious. The bar is super nice and has a large variety of different drinks.Overall, the place is great and really clean. Would recommend!!”

300 Dodge Ave, Evanston“The Levy Center is an outstanding Senior Center and Community. The Levy Center offers several programs and activities that are available to members. There are several resources available to the members. I highly recommend and encourage everyone to join
and visit. Sincerely, Susie Koleff”

2300 Mannheim Rd, Des Plaines“Extremely well run operation. Owners are hands-on and micromanaging which exactly what you want to see when you spend a lot of money on a special occasion. Food was excellent and hot. Service was stellar, especially George in the bar who is all class. They knocked it out of the park door my fathers 80th. Highly recommend”
9AM - 10PM
6100 N Central Ave, Chicago“I am such a fan of the Cook County Forest Preserves . And one reason I love them is that there's always something new to find and explore! Every time I visit I fall in love again.Today I visited the Volunteer Resource Center (VRC) near Edgebrook Woods. They held a program for Black History Month; I really want to support this type of cultural programming within the FPCC system, and it's an added bonus that it sounded interesting. The VRC is right near the Edgebrook Golf Course--the same entrance is for both. But unless you've been to an event here or go to the golf course, you're unlikely to known this was here. It's a really great event space which the FPCC rents out for various events. There's a different rate for county residents versus non-residents, and the cost differs for Monday-Thursday and Friday-Sunday dates. However, the rates seem really reasonable to me. There's a main room which is especially lovely; there's a large fireplace, high ceilings, and a lot of space--this room can hold 100 people. The classroom is much smaller and can accommodate up to 40. Both those spaces can be rented independently of one another, and I think you can rent portions of the golf course as well? All the information is on the webpage. The main room has a kitchen space as well so you can work with a caterer for your event. I wish I had an event for which I could use this space; I'll bet it's especially beautiful in the spring and summer. There are picnic tables just outside the indoor facility, and parking is plentiful as well.”
“Well the place is good. The gentlemen who are in charge of maintenance look a bit bad as if they were doing you a favor apart from the fact that the service is paid for!!”
“An unassuming wedding venue from the street but once you walk in you realize this is a prime event space thoughtfully renovated with modern amenities. The event room has 2 walls of windows providing fantastic views and the outdoor covered patio is something to behold. There are a ton of spots to take your intimate wedding photos at including water, bridges, weeping willows and manicured gardens. I highly recommend checking this place out for your wedding or important event reception.”
“A park and a beach is along the lake. Gillson Park is the best thing about Wilmette, and beats any of those overcrowded ones farther south. If you want to actually be able to walk on a beach and not feel crowded, then head up a ways. Be careful about where you park because you can find places for free. There's also plenty of green space for athletic fields. Gillson is a big park, and that makes it feel not as crowded. It has several different parts. There's the actual park with the grass and trees. It's often very quiet here. Where's all the people? At the beach. This beach is still less crowded than any of the Chicago beaches full of both locals and tourists. It has a nice little play area. The sand is pretty clear of debris for the most part. Also at this park is a big a** marina. There's lots of boats, and there's also a club you can join if you can pay up. However you spend time here, just be careful about parking or it may be costly. It has pay lots close to the beach but you can find free parking on the residential streets. They have certain places where you can't park though, so pay attention to signs and whatever.”
“One of the standout features a drop off area and a good amount of parking, which made it incredibly convenient to access. The rink itself is not only well-maintained but also spotlessly clean, providing a pristine environment for ice skating enthusiasts. What truly sets this place apart is the picturesque drive to the rink; the scenic route leading to it adds a touch of beauty and serenity to the overall experience. Whether you're a seasoned skater or a novice looking for a fun outing, this ice rink with its parking convenience, cleanliness, and scenic drive is an absolute gem that I highly recommend.”
“Great place. My daughter loves going there. Coach Jill is amazing with children and Linda front office receptionist is always very sweet and helpful. Definitiely a 5 star.”
“Petergoff’s team just helped me throw a 100 people graduation party for my daughter this past weekend. party was fantastic!
The team came to my house a few hours before the event and set up serving area, highball tables, bar, and buffet. Everything they brought was high-end - furniture, table linens, bar counter etc.
food was beyond delicious. first of all, it is a very impressive looking buffet. petergoff has a concept of adding a modern twist to simple party food. For example, hotdogs and burgers were served miniature style ( Great quality of meat for both burgers and Reuben sandwiches). Candied bacon was served in a tall cup like a bouquet. crowd pleasers fried calamari was served in individual bamboo cups. and tomato mozzarella salad were presented on skewers, arranged very nicely in the half of watermelon .
not only Petergoffs team served drinks to 100 people all night, they also helped maintaining the buffet, restock the bar , wash dishes, and swiped floors after the party!
I enjoyed every single second of my party because everything was taken care of. Petergoff is the only way to throw a party ! huge thanks!”
“Clean rooms, good service. Evanston is a great town and this hotel is right in the middle. Walking distance to a lot of great shops and restaurants. Will be back.”
“Had such an awesome time! Sue is such an amazing woman and is so sweet. Usually not a big bowler, but may make coming here a must do every time i’m i fly back up here!!”

7247 N Waukegan Rd, Niles“Ah, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Niles, where consistency reigns supreme like a well-rehearsed magic trick! ?✨ I've waltzed through this establishment's doors time and time again, and it never fails to impress. This place has cracked the code of top-notch hospitality, and I'm here to spill the beans. The front desk crew? Friendliness levels off the charts! It's like they've been sipping cups of sunshine before every shift. ?☀️ Their attention to detail is so sharp; I once dropped a pin in the lobby, and they found it before I could even finish saying "Oops!"Cleanliness, oh sweet cleanliness! This place could give a cat's obsession with cleanliness a run for its money. ?? The entire establishment gleams with the kind of cleanliness that makes you wonder if they've secretly employed a squad of cleanliness ninjas. Seriously, not a speck of dust in sight. But wait, there's more! The rooms, cozy and inviting, provide a retreat that rivals a bear's den in hibernation season. The beds? Like sleeping on a cloud made of marshmallows. ☁️?️And the breakfast! Don't get me started on the breakfast; it's like they've summoned a culinary wizard to whip up a morning feast fit for royalty. ??In summary, the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Niles is the gold standard of consistency. So, if you're seeking a place where you can expect nothing less than perfection, pack your bags, and head on over. It's a five-star experience that leaves you wondering if they've secretly mastered the art of perfection. Bravo! ???”
“Yesterday, Christmas day, was my family's first time at Classic Bowl. We were a group of 20ppl, celebrating my Autistic sons bday, reserved 4 lanes. Well, it was a phenomenal experience. From reserving lanes ahead of time, customer experience, cleanliness of the entire place including the restrooms, bar, helpful staff etc. Literally, the list can keep going. It was such a great time, and I can't wait to go back in the near future. A little hidden gem, thank you for the experience! Happy holidays.”
“One of my most favorite candy shops in America. Something about their dark chocolate peanut butter buckets makes me always go back and get more. So many truffle flavors to choose from as well.”
