1000 Lake Cook Rd, Glencoe“Today was the first time I stopped into Parkway Presents. Took me a while to see what your store is all about & I’m so glad I finally visited! Your customer service and variety of children’s products is outstanding. So great to get back to old school values where customers are appreciated and greeted with a smile. The sales associates were so knowledgeable regarding all the fun creative in stock items. Their suggestions were right on for what I was looking for. I’ll definitely be back with my 7 yr old grandson who I’m sure will love choosing a special toy he’ll enjoy that doesn’t involve screen time!
Thanks

“My new favorite store! Love all the stickers and I was able to make a custom button. The owner was super friendly and I appreciate her hospitality. Definitely recommend this spot if you’re in the area.”
“Jenny & Kevin were a delight to work with and they helped us with the design and made sure we got the award on time. They had very nice pieces to choose from and we would definitely recommend and use them again in the future.”
“Visiting Style Shack is like visiting family. Everyone is happy to see you and there is always new inventory to drool over. It is my go-to for presents and hostess gifts. The wrapping is always gorgeous and makes even cheaper items look expensive”
“Finally went in after years of admiring stuff in the window. What a nice guy and a cool store—will definitely be back in the future. Beautiful and comfortable clothes that are so vibrant!”
“I can always find the perfect gift - and the perfect card to go with it. I highly recommend my family and friends shop here when buying me gifts. lol I also appreciate how generous they are with supporting the community.”
“Super cool stuff! Great for gifts and unique home finds. The young lady working there is super knowledgable, helpful, and patient. The buyer/owner needs to be commended for some great, unique finds. A bit pricey, but considering the high rent district, I get it.”
“I was kind of going between 4 and 5 stars, but thought to bump it up to a 5 because its a small business and exactly the kind of store you want in your community. The basic premise is that its a store that showcases Chicago based items and Chicago based companies. I really like it because its a great place to buy a unique gift for somebody. I would say most of the items lean towards "home goods", but if you ever need something for a housewarming party or need that last minute birthday gift, this place has you covered. If there is any "downside" is that their items tend to be a little bit on the expensive side. That really shouldn't be surprising as it is a small business supporting other small businesses. I also wish they had wider hours, but the foot traffic might not call for it. If you are looking for a cool Chicago gift for yourself or somebody else, I would highly recommend checking this place out! They are very nice and have some really good finds!”
“This is my first-stop gift shop. Without exception, every gift from Greenleaf Gallery has been a hit with the recipients; from clothes, to eclectic household wares, to art. The customer service is also first rate. I highly recommend it!”
“An absolutely delightful store. There are so many unique gifts, and the card selection is just wonderful. What makes it even more special is how kind the owner is and how much she delights in what you choose to buy! Great energy and a great addition to our Evanston community.”
“Today was our first visit and loved browsing all the items and deciding what we wanted. Very nice selection of books at a very reasonable price. Picked up some mala beads (very reasonably priced), can always use more incense:). A nice beginners sized sound bowl for a nice price as well. We will definitely be back!!! Tashi was very accommodating.”
“I love this store! It has been in Park Ridge for more than 20 years in various store fronts, but is now back on tge main strip where it iz!belongs! Raffia has so many cool things and I am so happy zo rediscovered”
“I have been coming here for years. The store is such a great resource for all things gifts and something for yourself at the same time. I never leave empty handed. Plus the owner is so sweet and helpful and her staff is always friendly and go the extra mile. We are lucky to have them in Northbrook.”
“I love that I can pick up fair trade coffee right in Evanston at this great little shop. The gift selection is great, and the women who manage the store are really mission driven.”
“Wide selection of jewelry and home gifts but very pricey. Be prepared to spend when you shop here! Staff is very friendly and knowledgable about all the designers/sellers.”
“I stopped in to get some gifts for friends. They have a nice price range of items, appropriate for gift giving. I especially like the Porcelain Not Metal tabletop line for gifts. They wrap the gifts very attractively too, so I don't have to wrap them.”

“Price: $$$ Recommend Level: 5/5 Payment Options: Cash/Credit Card/Apple Pay/Online Parking: Parking lot (Non-member is $8 per vehicel) The Chicago Botanic Garden is always a beautiful place to visit as it always have special event that's happening througout the season. This place is a hoot year-round, offering more excitement than a squirrel in a nut factory. From spring's floral like the orchid show to winter's snowy serenity such as christmas light, this garden is a riot of color and charm. It's like a botanical fashion show, with each season strutting its stuff in style. But wait, there's more! The garden hosts events hotter than a jalapeno in July. Whether you're into flower power festivals or leaf peeping parties, there's something for everyone. And let's talk photo ops! This place is full of selfies and/or group ops potential. Strike a pose with a posse of posies or snap a shot with your sweetheart under a canopy of trees. It's Instagram gold! Not to mention, grab a bite at their café as there are plenty of options to refuel and recharge. (but fair warning though, the prices of their food items is abit pricy, so if you can bring your own food will definitely worth the trouble brining it). In a nutshell, the Chicago Botanic Garden is a botanical bonanza that's fun for the whole family or a romantic rendezvous. And I always have a great time there.”
