“This location is right downtown (historic building) and is one of the more sizeable in Wheaton. There was hardly a wait even though I visited during a rush period. The service was phenomenal and the postal clerk took the time to review my passport renewal materials and offered me all the mailing options so that I could make the best choice. “This is probably the best USPS location I have ever used. I am an online seller, ever since I start shipping from this branch, complaint about missing packages and delays had been reduced by a lot. The staffs are organized and helpful. It’s a small place and it gets busy but they do they best they can.”
“I had the pleasure of working with Gale on a package of mine that was having issues being shipped from my post office. She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. She was so great to work with, almost would'nt mind if another package was delayed going to her location! haha. Thanks again Gale!”
“On the positive side, the workers were helpful when I had questions about international shipping. On the negative side, only two employees were working in the front, and I stood in line for about 10 minutes before receiving help. In comparison to other USPS locations, I would say this staff was more polite and helpful, and the wait time was about average.”
“This is truly the USPS I’ve ever been to. I had trouble getting my fingerprints but both ladies there had so much patience with me and really tried everything what they can do to help me out for literally an hour and a half. And I eventually was able to get record from FBI within the day, thanks to the two best employees in this location. I can’t say enough how thankful I am for their persistence and service-mindedness. “This is the best post office and I even drive out of my way a little bit just to come here. They're open JUST long enough after work hours (open until 6pm on weekdays!) so i can get my small etsy business orders out after my full time job. They always scan my packages without hesitation and with a smile, too! I'll never go to another post office again (and i've tried many over the years: Willow Springs, Bolingbrook, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook...) The workers are friendly, efficient, and never close a minute earlier than closing time. Thank you!”
“I went 5/7 to do the paperwork to get my son his passport. Michael was there to help. I noticed that he was like that with everyone that came in which was a great thing to see as not all USPS workers are nice( I have experience first hand the unwelcome feeling) .Thank you Michael for being kind!”

Since I rarely use the postal service, I usually had questions on how different kinds of mail service work. Each time the employees there answered my questions patiently and helped me find the best rate. The packages I've sent so far have all reached their destinations in the time frame promised.”
“Our local post office opens at 8:30am perfect for dropping off packages or in my case picking up a last minute card and gift card. The employees are always helpful and professional even despite being understaffed at times. I especially enjoy coming here because it is easy to find parking and be in and out.”

“My apt has a broken mailbox -picked up my mail from post office asked if todays mail would be in there -he told me yes -got home, it wasn’t. Went back later in day to see if it was there. The supervisor was in the front so the man directed me to her since he didn’t want to check… SHE WAS THE BEST! Went above and beyond she called my mail lady to see if she had mail for me and she did -she took my number and is calling me when she gets there, I am beyond impressed. She could’ve brushed me off but made my day because I really need this piece of mail today va waiting til Monday! Thank you so much”
“All my life I’ve dealt with carol steam post office..always rude people/clearly showing they hate their jobs so I expected the same level of energy at the Winfield location. Except to my surprise Winfield staff are really nice and very professional!. I made an appointment for 3 passports and Kyu was very accommodating, nice and thorough. The lady working next to him was also pleasant to everyone who came in to drop off mails or whatever.”

“My package was there when they were shipped from overseas and it took a couple of days for it to move on but I don't blame them because from what I can tell on the reviews all the locals think positive of it and helpful, and the reason why the review is so low at 1.4 is because there's short-handed not enough staff in that small town.”

“I think it is Tonya who works frequently works the right counter? She’s always super sweet. Very helpful and wonderful to talk to. Star USPS employee.I have not interacted with others working the counter. I’m only there to drop off mail with prepaid labels. Never had any problems.”
“I visited this location on 7/29 around 11am. Both employees at the front desk were extremely kind, and very helpful! The best experience I had with visiting a post office. I had a larger item to ship out with prepaid label and they found me a solution in order for the item to fit.”

“Not really sure of all the bad reviews. Never had a bad experience here. Today was the best. Made an appointment for by kids to get passports, or so I thought I did, the man that helped us was like, not a problem I'll do it. He told me where I forgot to hit confirm. He was so nice. Even the ladies working here seemed super nice and friendly. We were in and out in about 15 minutes. Thank you Streamwood post office for making my kids first post office visit exceptional!”
“We had the best customer service at this location today for our passport appointment, which is solely what I am basing my review on. Denise was the one who helped us. She was very professional, efficient, and kind. She noticed that my passport photo (taken elsewhere) would likely not work and took a much better one for me. Did we have to wait for our appointment? Yes. But one look at the facility and it's easy to see why. The building is small, and the line is long. BOTH employees were hard at work the entire time and were courteous and patient. However, they are understaffed. The appointments take longer than what USPS says they will. These issues are not in the control of the employees at the front desk. To the employees...thank you for your hard work!”

“This place has easy accessible parking lot iff the store. Spacious area with island and supplies ( for purchase) to prepare your package. PO box is available. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Speedy service with no lines.PLEASE MAKE A NOTE-post office will be closed for lunch from 1-2.If you are picking up missed Package(s), please do not goto this location. All packages pick up at carol stream location.There is no access to printer here so please print your label at home. Cashier will not able to print your label however QR CODE is okay for her to accept it.”
