“This is, quite simply, the best USPS location ever. In this era, so many USPS locations, particularly in denser parts of major cities, range from incompetent to straight up illegal levels of service. My home locations in Ravenswood and Audobon (Manhattan) were both this way. The two main front desk guys here, however, have worked there forever and are both pleasant, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. Even the 3-4 other people who sometimes man the front are excellent. have never had a bad experience with the Itasca Post Office. These guys should get raises :)”

She followed up with me everyday on updates and eventually got it worked out to be delivered. “It feels good to drive through or look around because it feels like an old small town. The post office looks like an old house with a name plate hanging out side painted in an old font style. The post-office is nice and warm. I went there for in-person identity verification to complete a USPS Change-of-Address. The lady in there was welcoming and helped me get my work done in a jiffy. I never knew there was a post-office there.”

“Went into the Villa Park post office yesterday and a women named Tara took care of me. She was the nicest person I've ever seen work there. I'm not sure why the post office doesn't hire more people like Tara. She was very helpful and assisted me with my shipment. Mr Lopez if you're reading this please take care of your good workers so they stay and help the community you work in, you already lost Gail.”

“Went to the post office on my lunch break to ship some packages for Christmas. Line was out the lobby door into the foyer, but the two workers kept the line moving and were so helpful. They greeted every customer cheerfully and wished them happy holidays at the end of every transaction. I was out in 15 min. Great job for a stressful time of year!”

“All my life I’ve dealt with carol steam post office..always rude people/clearly showing they hate their jobs so I expected the same level of energy at the Winfield location. Except to my surprise Winfield staff are really nice and very professional!. I made an appointment for 3 passports and Kyu was very accommodating, nice and thorough. The lady working next to him was also pleasant to everyone who came in to drop off mails or whatever.”

The employees are always helpful and professional even despite being understaffed at times. I especially enjoy coming here because it is easy to find parking and be in and out.”

I had been having issues with booking an appointment on the website, and thought I had set his appointment up for yesterday. Apparently the appointment booking didn’t work. “This place has easy accessible parking lot iff the store. Spacious area with island and supplies ( for purchase) to prepare your package. PO box is available. Andrea was very helpful and friendly. Speedy service with no lines.PLEASE MAKE A NOTE-post office will be closed for lunch from 1-2.If you are picking up missed Package(s), please do not goto this location. All packages pick up at carol stream location.There is no access to printer here so please print your label at home. Cashier will not able to print your label however QR CODE is okay for her to accept it.”
