“I can't say enough good things about Sphinx Computer. Ahmed and Dorothy are highly knowledgeable and go above and beyond to provide their customers with superb service. I've experienced this on three separate occasions, and each time I've been extremely pleased. One example: Several months ago, I asked Ahmed to help me change from home WiFi to wired connections, in order to reduce my EMF exposure. He came out and spent about an hour inspecting my home and brainstorming solutions with me. We finally came up with a surprisingly simple system, which Ahmed set up with equipment from his store, at no extra cost. In the process, he diagnosed a computer problem that I reported and worked on it until it was solved. The total cost was very reasonable for all the work he did. To this day, my wired connections are working beautifully, and my computer is fast and smooth. It's good to know that in my neighborhood is such a friendly, reliable, and skilled team. “Thank you Mario for being an audio plastic surgeon. I took my Cam Am Spyder to another audio place on the north side of Chicago last summer to install 4 speakers, new amp, and an equalizer. The job was horrible. The speakers would turn off on me, they would make a loud popping noise and overall it really bothered me. I wanted Mario from M&M to take a look at it this year and correct the mistakes. Luckily I was able to get on his schedule and Mario replaced 2 speakers and added tweeters, he replaced my battery to lithium, add jumping pegs to my frunk, replaced my equalizer, added a new controller and Bluetooth, added a platform inside my frunk to separate the audio from anything I want to place there, added an USB port, and did countless repairs that the other place made on my bike. For example Mario had to plug the extra holes in the speaker holders/mounts, repair a large hole in the frunk, and replaced wires that the other place just spliced and spliced and spliced again. I am super happy with the end product and this place is highly recommended!”

“Thank you, Cheryl!! Cheryl is a tech genius with printers. I had checked with a warranty program and explained the problem that I was having with my fairly new Epson ET-5800. Their answer was for me to box up this gigantic printer and ship it to them. No Way!! So, I contacted another very reputable computer/printer repair company and explained the problem to them. They assumed a technician needed to come to my home to fix the printer. FINALLY, I CALLED CHERYL after locating her thru Google search. I read the reviews and called and spoke to Cheryl and repeated what was happening with my printer.. This phenomenal tech savvy lady told me what the problem was in less than 5 minutes and told me how to resolve it. It was so simple that I almost didn't believe Cheryl. And, then she explained how the printer reads paper as it's creating the image when it goes thru the feeder. I was convinced that she knew her stuff!! It took me 2 minute to resolve my printer problem by following Cheryl's instructions. I told Cheryl that she will be blessed because she could have told me to bring my printer to her and charged me but she did not. Cheryl is the BEST!! I wish I could giver her a 10 Star rating.”
“I took a pair of JBL 4401s here after Saturday Audio Exchange recommended Van L. My 4401s never seemed to work right. John and co are extremely knowledgeable and he gave me a demo of his in house brand (which sound great). I dropped off my speakers and had them back, repaired, in 2 weeks. So far they sound great. Van L is a friendly shop and they know what they’re doing.”
“I have used Scott several times. My first experience with Scott involved a Charmille 440 CC wire EDM machine. Scott went through several boards that the manufacturer suggested could be failing. After examining the components of these boards he determined they were in working order. Turned out to be a door switch.Scott recently did an amazing job repairing the generator boards on my AgieCharmilles P550. Incredibly the machine would still run, but at significantly reduced speed. He replaced several components and now the machine is running as good as new. These are very complex boards. I would recommend Scott to anyone who has electronics issues with their equipment. If it’s not broke he tells you. If it is he is the guy you want fixing it.”
“First and foremost the service by Computer Medics was not only great it was ABOVE AND BEYOND! Dave the gentleman with the company deserves high praise for todays interaction. I would highly recommend working with the company. They are fast, more than reliable, and have the consumer's interest in their mind.I was having issues with making a bootable drive for windows and I called Dave for help. He offered to make a drive for me and pick it up from him. When I asked how much he would charge he said free of charge!In todays service industry what Dave did is not only nice, but truly the top tier of service excellence. He offered me contact information and pick up instructions to help assist me receiving the boot drive. He not only did that, but got my drive made in 20 minutes! Dave really is a gem and like I said i would highly recommend Computer Medics for service needs!”

“Over the last two months I found two occasions to give C& K Electronics a 5-star review.The first was related to a dishwasher control board that was not working, was no longer made, nor replacment units available anywhere.Upon taking the unit to C&K Electonics, Perry repaired while I waited.Two weeks ago my stove began beeping with a F1 error code. This control board was also found to no longer be made, nor supported by the manufacturere.I took to to Perry to review and one day later he had it repaired. One hour later the stove was back working.”

It is not often you run into young customer service reps in retail that are as switched on as these two. They are truly a credit to the company. They deserve raises!! I was given options, the explanations were clear and concise and honest. The additional battery replacement I was offered was also at a discount since I was there to have the earpiece speaker replaced or cleaned. It turned out a cleaning was all it needed. That kept the price down. In less than 24 hours I referred two people.
