“This was the best experience working with Mike. I had a few designer pieces and wanted to get more value for them besides weight. I was pleasantly surprised at his quote. I also sent scrap items. It was very nice working with someone that actually does what they say. I was sent a lable for 2 day shipping. Once received I was given the quote and paid same day. I live out of state and did a little research on who has a market for what I was selling. This worked so well for me. Takes away going shop to shop to see what local jewlers will offer you. I will continue to work with Mike from here on out. I highly encourage anyone that is a little nervous about shipping items, to try it. I texted Mike to let him know when it shipped and that I saw it had been delivered. He responds and gave a time that he would let me know about each item. Again, went so much better than expected. “I cannot recommend Costello's in Glen Ellyn enough! My stroller completely bent a silver engraved plate that wasn't mine like a taco. I was completely stumped on what to possibly do to fix it and was so nervous to tell the group it belonged to that I had ruined it. I brought it in to Costello and they accepted the challenge. They completely fixed it and now you would never know anything happened to it. Not only did they fix it, but the service and communication was great! I will certainly be going back there again and again!”
“What a great experience despite the fact that, unfortunately, I cannot remember the ladies' names! My necklace chain had two nearly impossible knots to untangle and even though it took a solid 20 minutes, they successfully untangled them! Initially, they said they may need to send it to the jeweler and would need to quote us, but that ended up not being necessary and the untangling was done for free! We also looked for a new chain and received guidance for which one to choose. My fiancé and I sincerely appreciated their patience when we said we would need time to consider – no pushing at all! Worth mentioning: this store always has impressive deals and sales happening. Thank you!!”

“Everyone at Panache was extremely helpful and even worked with me on my budget. I was crunched for time finding a kurta for my buddy's wedding and Arti was super welcoming and put together a great three piece outfit. They were even able to do alterations within 3 days to make sure I had time to try it on a few days before the event. Arti provided $120 off of everything because we found one that fit and looked good all together. Highly recommend this place for Indian jewelry and clothing!”
“Arlington Jewelry & Pawn is awesome. I had some jewelry and misc. gold I wanted to sell. The first place I stopped at offered me $400. I took out three items that I thought I might be able to get more for somewhere else and they gave me $200. I then went to a jeweler who gave me $300 for one of the three items. Luckily I was able to go back to the initial shop and get my gold back for $200. Today, I went to Arlington Jewelry & Pawn and they gave me $460. $260 more!! They are definitely honest and fair and I highly recommend them.”

“This is one of the Ten Thousand Villages that has an annual handmade rug event, where you can come in and see the rugs. You might find handmade rugs someplace like The Dump in Lombard, however here you can be sure it's made by fairly-paid artisans and you don't need to wonder about child or slave labor. They often have interesting jewelry which is quite affordable; miscellaneous housewares; runners/napkins/placemats/aprons etc. and hand-knit hats/scarves/mittens. They even carry fair trade chocolate bars. It's a little bit like Pier 1 used to be but with fairly-paid artisans instead of mass merchandise. There's nothing here that you need, but there is probably something here that will make you smile. Staff is very pleasant and patient when you ask them to, say, show you every rug in a three-foot stack of carpets, and if you have something particular in mind, they'll help you find something similar.”

“I was looking for a specific Cross pendant and called Elk Grove Jewelry & Pawn on a whim. I described what I was looking for and Jade stated that she had what I was looking for and quoted me a price. Upon arrival, Jade showed me the Cross and it was EXACTLY what I was looking for! I looked at the price tag and the price on the tag was higher than what was quoted. HOWEVER, Jade honored the price which she quoted me over the phone. I have never had an experience like that in a Pawn shop before! Not only did Jade handle our transaction with integrity, she was extremely friendly and very very helpful!
