“My car broke down 20 miles from Effingham while driving back to Chicago from Mississippi on Sunday night. Luck would have it that Monday was labor so I had to call off work and stay in Effingham until Tuesday when your center would be open. As I waited all day for my truck to be fixed, I observed customers come and go between those 2 domino's pizza deliveries. And what I noticed was everyone was satisfied with your service and I didn't hear one complaint. As far as my truck, I made it home and I have no complaints. I want to thank you in helping me get over that holiday nightmare!!!

“I ran through Effingham every week back in the 80,s & 90,s then didn't get thru their much over the years afterwards, now back on west coast runs, i needed an oil change on my new engine & heard good replies about this place so thought i would try them, had my oil changed a month ago, new engine so I'm picky who works on it, I will go out of my way to stop back in there for my oil changes, excellent job, friendly, clean, big, alot of room an they do a excellent job”

The owner took the time to diagnose the problem and tried to locate the part need for repair. But none to be had locally. Took her in to Goeckner bros and with in an hour of being there I was told what was wrong with her and it would be a quick and easy fix for her and got her back the very next day. “I bought my new Toyota Corolla at Dan Hecht's because of the good things I had heard and read about the dealership. Now I know that I can and do recommend the dealership for a new or used vehicle. I honestly believe they offer the best deals! My salesperson there was/is Ty Griffith. He recently saw to it that I received an additional service, that was unscheduled, so that I would not have to make a return trip. Was much appreciated!
Update:The above was written by me in 2017 when I bought my very first new car. Now in 2019, in just a little over two years from then, I purchased my second brand new vehicle from Dan Hecht. It, too, is a Corolla. There was nothing wrong with my 2017. I just came to regret the exterior and interior color (both dark). I really had not planned on purchasing something different so soon, however. What happened was I went for my free carwash, which is a complimentary thing they do there that I love. Anyway, I saw it......the brand spanking new 2020 Corolla, with a LIGHT exterior and interior. Furthermore, it not only has been redesigned, but has even more safety features than the 2017! I am absolutely sold on Toyota for the very fact that they are designed so as to keep us safer! I can speak firsthand to that because the one I traded in literally kept me from crashing in to a car that pulled right out in front of me! Before I even had time to react, the car did the braking for me! That is the pre-collision feature on the Toyotas.
All the staff there at the dealership are friendly folks. I will give a shout out to Chad Koester, my salesperson, for making my car trading/buying experience a good one! I recommend Dan Hecht to anyone looking to purchase either a used or new vehicle. You will get a good deal. They treat you right!
2024 now. Recently whent for my routine oil change and tire rotation. The staff there are wonderfful. There are no pushy salespeople. Still have my 2020 Toyota Corolla. I.have no complaints with it! I may, at a future date, look for another Toyota...one that sets up a little higher. If & when that date comes, Dan Hecht will be the dealership I will return to.”
