“Not the biggest selection, but the prices were agreeable and the merchandise in pretty good condition. The guy was helpful, and I'm happy with my rolling stock that I got. Ironically the locomotive I have with the same coupler decided to stop running that very same day. Oh well. If you need rolling stock or a few locomotives I think you'll find what you're looking for there”

“Marty helped me very much during my visit he is a great guy and very nice and knowledgeable person, this is a small store but somehow they have everything you need, I came into the store looking for a 1/35 Panzer model (nothing special) and I came out with a Panzer IV ausf.G and a lot of tools to start my new model. I’ll be coming back soon for all the paints and extra stuff I’ll need in the near future.”

The store has so much to offer and a little bit of whatever you are getting into from Pokémon, ballball, basketball, football you name it!! “I brought my 8 and 6 year old sons here yesterday to look at pokémon cards. The store is very organized and clean and the employees were kind and helpful.As soon as we walked in, someone greeted us and asked us if we needed help. They directed us to the pokémon cards, which were set up neatly at tables with chairs. We also looked through the holographic and higher value cards that were in a display case. Every once in a while an employee would check in to see how we were doing. They closed at 7 PM and I didn't realize the time. I was so embarrassed when they told me at 7:20 PM that they were getting ready to close. We quickly wrapped up our purchase even though I didn't feel at all that they were rushing us. My sons loved the experience and I look forward to returning in the future.”

“I stopped by John's York Train Shop today and his knowledge of model trains is unbelievable. He was able to tell me what parts I would need to repair the locomotive and other parts I would need to get the train up and running for the first time in 50 years. Model trains really are his passion.The quote for the labor cost for repairs on the locomotive was so low I was stunned. John is an excellent resource and very knowledgeable. His shop may be a disaster but it's worth going to John for all your model train needs.”

“Jeremy is simply the best! I have moved out of state, but whenever I homebrew I think about how great it was to have a local homebrew shop just down the road! I really miss the convenience of it and being able to see my grains/hops and discuss what I'm planning with another homebrewer. I've been relegated to using online shops and it's just not the same.”
