“For truck drivers... entrance is the west gate. Pull up to the gate and call the number posted. Pretty easy backing. Unload time is about an hour. Getting to the delivery can have some tight turns but overall not bad.”

“Very nice staff who have helped me on numerous occasions since I bought my first home down the street about a year ago. I’ve had a number of projects where it’s my first time trying to fix or replace something and they’ve always patiently walked me through everything and answered my questions. They’re also very dog friendly and my dog knows when we’re getting close and starts walking faster so he can get all the attention from the staff he loves.
Great neighborhood store and so glad I moved in near them. It’s great being able to walk 5 minutes and get everything you need for a home project.”

“Not the cheapest spot depending on what you're getting, but the employees tend to be really helpful and nice, and it's definitely a good place if you need a really particular part (such as when our hose valve kept leaking). We usually come in for propane for our business—you can get both tanks and refills here. We are part of their rewards program so we're always getting coupons sent to us. Love perusing the garden center, good plant selection during that season.”

“Wasn’t a believer until I bought a 13 dollar belt sander years ago and hoped it would last me a project or two. I think I may have to donate it if I ever want to be in need of buying another one.
The staff here is one of the best locations I’ve been too. I prefer it over Hanover park and Cary, the staff always makes sure your getting the best deal possible and is super friendly with answers. Probably the best place I’ve been to if you ever need a random tool to make that next project easier. Also they have a lot of tools that may normally only be available at a premium price point and the DIY’re the solution they provide is great.
Their products and easy customer service make me reminisce about the good old days of well built, inexpensive tools, that carried a lifetime or long term warranty.
I just bought an oscillating spindle/belt sander that is 99% the same guts as a Rigid for 4-5x the price. Never thought I’d own a luxury sanding item like that for the shop but I got that and a cart full of tools for less than the cost of one at the big orange store.
Oh also people like to harp on the “imported quality” where do you think everyone else comes from? You’re paying for a brand, up until recently the Hercules lineup of tools actually had Samsung sourced battery cells being utilized. I don’t think most people at this stage of the game think Samsung doesn’t know what they are doing when it comes to electronics.”
“Very happy with recent service from AG. He replaced a plexiglass storm window panel with bent aluminum frame, and the hardware on a sliding storm window panel from a porch door. Relatively small jobs, but he took care to complete the repairs right and at a low price. Communication throughout the process was also great. Highly recommended.”

“Why spend 30 to 60 extra minutes at a big box store when you can park and get in and out under 10 minutes here.Competitive prices but exceptional help.Unlike trying to find someone in an orange or green shirt who works in a specific department and avoids contact; here they seek you out to see if there is anything they can help you with.And they have always been good at advice on a project.Support your local hardware store or you will loose it.”
“I would highly recommend this Ace Hardware. The are very Knowledgable and friendly. Ethan is an asset to your store. He goes above and beyond to help the customer. I had a car key problem and was told at the dealership I had to get a new key because my nail was rounded and it could not open. Ethan tried everything to make it happen and he did! I dont have to pay $110 for a new key. All I wanted to do was replace a battery and get it opened and he managed to figure it out and the dealership couldnt. Thank you Ethan for making my day. Also please note your other employees on staff at 4 p.m. on 11/14/25 was outstanding and friendly.”
“Everyone who works here is so helpful and very kind. It is family owned and the owner is always happy to order things I need, but most often has them in stock, helps find things and with bringing out to car when it is alot or heavy. He has patiently assisted with more complicated home repair, plumbing situations we have had come up as well as picking paint colors for dollhouse walls and was equally attentive to our little customers questions.”

“One night I went into our bedroom and found a chipmunk on our bed. Quickly went to our local Ace and asked for help. The sales associate told me what product I could use (sticky pads) and gave me directions on how to use it, even suggesting using peanut butter as bait. I went home and followed his directions. An hour later Mr. Chipmunk was stuck to the pad and we were able to remove him from our home. Thanks Ace.”
“We used Kitchen and Bath Mart in the early 90's for kitchen remodeling in our first home and we were extremely happy with the results. So when it came time to update our kitchen, down stairs bath and master bath in our second home we went once again to Kitchen and Bath Mart in Niles. Working with George was a pleasure, he was very knowledgeable on all levels of the project.
Because of the multitude of choices available it is hard to decide what we wanted, George help guide us by offering options using drawings and examples at their nicely appointed show room.
The project went as planned, in the time frame they proposed. The installation crew consisted of a husband and wife team, Kris and Joann who did a fantastic job, they are truly artists at what they do. They were clean, organized and friendly. As in any major project there were a couple unexpected things that popped up, they were worked around the problems with professional results.
We highly recommend Kitchen and Bath Mart and would use them again.”
