“I hosted a baby shower at Lambs Farm. Beth Klawonn was my contact and she was wonderful! We had a delicious buffet luncheon, the room was perfect, service was great and the price was so reasonable. I highly recommend!”

“This is a small thrift store in a strip mall with a parking problem. (There are signs telling Wings customers specifically where they can't park.) Very well organized inside. It contains mostly quality goods (clothes to household to furniture to jewelry) priced up higher than most thrift stores. However, you sometimes find special items that aren't carried in the Salvation Armies or Goodwills that make it worth stopping in.”
“Nice place. We were in the room behind the bar room for Knights of Columbus dinner.8/27/22 steak & chicken cookout with the Knights of Columbus. A great deal for a complete steak meal! Only $20 for a strip steak & it included dessert & coffee.”
“Super helpful amd friendly staff. Due to COVID they do restrict number of people entering building. Dr was great at explaining my father's condition and hopefully got through to him. Great information on their services. So glad we were able to get an appointment earlier rather than having to wait for the new year.”

“I went there for a yelp event. it was calledneon night and it was a fundraiser. I have never been here prior to it nor was I familiar with it. It seems like a wonderful organization. You can donate books or money, and it helps children that don't have the means to buy books and you donate money or books, and it helps them. The CM of the North Shore suburbs Keisha and her assistant were kind enough to organize this.”
“Great facility and dedicated staff. They helped me adopt out three feral kittens. Each kitten had health issues and CARE paid all the vet bills. Everyone was incredibly supportive.”
“We adopted a lovely dog, Bear. The team at BF couldn’t have been nicer. They answered all our questions and made us comfortable. All the employees and volunteers were emotional saying goodbye but over the moon one of their dog received a forever home. It’s truly a unique and special place. I highly recommend getting a dog or cat there.”

“This is a very nice large and well-maintained community center located in a quiet section of Des Plaines. I've been here several times mainly to enjoy their 300 seat theatre which I have reviewed separately as the Big Noise Theatre. I did walk through here once in our early days of relocating into this area, and they do also have among other things a fitness center and a second floor walking track. There are other amenities here as mentioned in the other reviews and it's a mighty fine community asset. I also particularly enjoy their large, convenient, and well laid out parking lot.”
“My shul. When I'm there, it feels like I am surrounded by family, as my family must have davened 60 or 70 years ago. They are welcoming, kind, attentive, & truly care about everyone who contacts them & comes to worship.”

“Helped my daughter get an apartment when she was homeless with kids. Gave her beds, blankets and furniture. She gets a food pickup every week and a year later the social worker is still involved with her family. Thank you Catholic Charities!”
“It is a great place to stay but they get rid of good staff and keep the ones who doesnt care. They teach you how to do things on your own. Money management. They are friendly and caring. The sites would fight but thats what happens when youth. Very good staff overall. Would recommend. Great trips with this place. Was there for 4 years and left with learning alot from them.”
