Prairie Lakes Community Center includes the Prairie Lakes Fitness Center, a walking & jogging track overlooking a full gymnasium, and the beautiful Prairie Lakes Theater—home to the Artistry in Motion Dance Company, the Des Plaines Park District Community Concert Band, Big Noise Theatre Company, and Chicago Summer Opera. Monthly programs include H20 Nights, Fantastic Fridays. Kruisin' Kids and Leisure Lizards. Several rooms, including two kitchens, are available to rent for parties and meetings. The park features an outdoor walking/jogging/biking track, basketball and volleyball courts, soccer and cricket fields, and a large playground. Adjacent to the Prairie Lakes Aquatic Center, and a short walk from Mountain View Adventure Center.
