“It’s a must I share my experience with this store. Me and my boyfriend were attending an adult prom and he needed to get a suit at the last minute. I went into this store after leaving another store who couldn’t help us with a last minute suit request. When we walked in I explained what was needed for my boyfriend and when it was needed. The staff literally got right on top of my request for him. They showed us available suits to rent. Also brought out shoes for him to rent as well if needed. He found the perfect suit he wanted to go with and from there they began to take measurements right away. He was measured, then advise that the suit could be picked up the morning of the event. He also would be able to try the suit on again once he arrives for pick up to make sure everything fits perfectly. The staff at this store location went above and beyond for us. Their customer service was for sure a 10 out of 10. I highly recommend this store to anyone who is in need of a suit rental or purchase. You shouldn’t be disappointed. We WERE NOT.”

“We had a fantastic experience this morning for a first ever pointe shoe fitting. Trivaughn (I apologize if I’ve destroyed the spelling) was amazing. You can tell she is experienced and willing to take the time to help find the best shoe. Even if it takes many tries to find it. She understands how important it is for the dancers feet as well as how special it is to the dancer personally as a milestone. We will definitely be back the next time she needs a new pair. We appreciate the time and attention given. It’s in the cutest area, you could spend the rest of the afternoon there and make it a fun time. Thanks!

“I like that I frequently see the same associates on the sales floor, so I know that they are pretty familiar with the products. They are also all very friendly and helpful but give me distance if I just want to browse. I never feel like they're breathing down my neck, but I know they're there if I need them. The cashiers are also friendly and willing to help, like when I get home and realize I had a coupon I could have used. I was hoping to find a bargain but ended up paying full price which is unusual for me. I did find a great deal on a pair of tennis shoes though so I now have two sets of new footwear.If they had more clothing in my size I would have stocked up on those, too. You can see how well-versed Peter is in clothing and its construction when listening to him explain how clothes are fitting and his suggestions on how to further improve the fit. I asked a lot of questions about the clothes I was purchasing and brought in for altering, and he immediately answered all of them in a way I could understand and with increasing technicality based on my interest in the details.

The clothing items will last a long time. - Easy returns or exchanges. No questions, no hassle. - Pet friendly store. - Clean restrooms. - Soft, "Buck naked" underwear! Unless there are good sales, items are pricier than local competitors, like Cabela's, but again, Duluth sells items that last. There were some great deals here the week of Black Friday. I love the back area where you can sit and check out some of their books for sale, too.”

The organization of the store was well-executed, enhancing the ease of navigating through the diverse range of discounted products. However, it's worth noting that some deals were altered, potentially causing minor discrepancies in the expected discounts. Despite this, Old Navy's post-Thanksgiving sale showcased great value, making it a recommended destination for those seeking winter apparel at affordable prices.”

“I am a bigger guy. However, I really don't care about all the crazy fashion that crops up every season. I just want nice looking jeans, button down shirts, and 1/2 zip and hoodie sweatshirts to fit right. For awhile, some stores had good clothing for plus size people. Kohl's carried a couple brands that were stylish and fit well, but then they stopped carrying them only to re-introduce those same brands with ill-fitting plus size options. Marshall Field's had a few items which became Macy's, and they had fewer still. The Winston Box, a monthly subscription mail order service boasts a way to find great options for any plus size and truthfully, they never sent items that fit well.

However, DXL (a.k.a. Destination XL) has always had options that work well with my body type. I'm a Polo fan and not a big fan or their house brand, Harbor Bay. With that being said, Harbor Bay's t-shirts and jackets are awesome and fit great.

DXL always has new options and brings in new brands that offer nice options such as Vineyard Vines, Psycho Bunny, Robert Graham, and more. Lately, I love the Lucky Brand jeans as they fit so well, and recently purchased the softest, most comfortable Vineyard Vines hoodie (actually, wearing both the hoodie and jeans right now).

Plus, DXL offers workout closes, casual clothes, dress clothes, suits, shoes, and accessories.

Lastly, the Vernon Hills location (close to me) has such a wonderful staff. Over the years, their staff has changed, but they are very friendly and always offer to help you find what you're looking for or are happy to remains hands off and let you do your own shopping. And they remember you whether you frequent them often or your visits are limited to a few times a year. I hardly visit any other store and if they don't have something in their store, they are happy to reach out to other locations to help you find your size and color you desire. I love this place!”
