“Wow, this is the BEST Planet Fitness I have ever seen. Holy smokes, it's nice! Sure, it's the locker room that is the most difference I see, but it sets the vibe. No wait for weights because there are at least 2 (if not 4) of various standard machines... and some newer ones like the glutes one by the abduction (thigh) machines... and my butt is still recovering ... KK, lookout, I will have a hiney by summer. =] And... all the cardio machines connect to the TVs well so you can zone into a show easily.”

“I was looking for a gym where I could relax and exercise without anyone judging me from the time I walked through the doors and Push Fitness is that gym. As soon as you walk in, everybody, including the clients welcomes you, encourages you to not give up on yourself, and gives great nutritional advice on losing body weight. Also, Push Fitness had a great 1 on 1 connection with their clients. Former clients come and go and decide to return to this gym to tone their bodies back into shape. “I’m so glad that OT came into my life. I could not find the motivation to work out and after months of trying, I found this place. I was able to lose 15lbs in 2-3 months. I see the difference and see myself getting stronger and finding that my clothes fit better.The classes are fast-paced, but you’re welcome to start off slowly until you’re comfortable. There’s always modifications that can be made to accommodate your needs. I’ve had sciatic pain and still able to come to class and finish my workout.There’s a variety of class types to choose from. The staff has always been great to work with! I appreciate Kyler, Ralph, Jon, and Bravo for pushing me to give it my all. They definitely make the class fun and there’s no pressure to be better than anyone else even though this is a group class.I would highly recommend giving it a shot! My only complaint is that I wish there were more options for later classes.”

“For me, the OTF workouts are the perfect balance of cardio and strength training. I love the variety, the challenge, and the group energy. My Vernon Hills studio is THE ABSOLUTE BEST. Listen! They are spectacular. I have attended, taught at, worked for, and managed a number of group fitness and yoga studios, and can say from experience that the level of member support, engagement, and JOY by both the SA and coaching teams at this location is truly exceptional. I've attended classes through a couple different injuries and ongoing physical limitations, and have always felt well-held by the coaches within class. It is clear that our head coach Theresa is skilled and experienced, but even more special, she has that extra magical gift that can't be taught. She consistently allows the space to find your own way through the workout, while inspiring you to push and play with the edges of what you can achieve. Under her guidance, ALL of our coaches bring their own flavor of talent to each well-guided class. The SA team, top-down, not only provides all needed logistical support, they genuinely make each member feel like a pal! I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH HOW ELSE CAN I SAY IT?!?”

“Will, Andrew & Kurt have been great with our boys (16 and 13) since they started at SAA about 6 months ago. Impressed with the structure, guidance and encouragement they have received on their journey to becoming better athletes (faster, stronger) through customized, focused training. Short-term results have been quite noticeable but most importantly they are learning life-long lessons and know if they stick with it, results will continue to follow. “I was here for spring break and needed a place to lift for a week. I did not want to pay for day passes at Crunch, XSport, etc. But infinite fitness offered a one week free pass. Honestly, I cannot beat that. I will say, the round plates were not the best for deadlifting, but the rest of the equipment was great. Recommend it to anyone trying to get into the gym!”

“Perfect small-ish gym. Plenty of equipment for an experienced lifter like myself, but very welcoming and relaxed environment for beginners too! All the staff/trainers are friendly and knowledgeable. Even the others working out there will assist you if you ask for advice or a spot. “This is the average joe's gym you probably didn't know you needed in your life. I tried big box gyms and classes in the past but they never really stuck for me and eventually I would lose interest and move on. I have been working with Kyle Hart for over 3 years and counting now.The workouts are guided and specific to each client. Its a fraction of the cost of a standard personal trainer but the same type of quality. He has a focus on full body health and sustainable results. He works with people of all ages and levels of personal fitness and makes an environment you want to be a part of. Could not recommend trying him out for a free session more. The results are there for me and my family.”

“Love this place for group workouts, it takes the guessing out of planning a workout routine especially if you're a beginner but is definitely for all skill levels! Everyone is friendly and welcoming, you get amazing support there and definitely helps you stay accountable and motivated. The owner/trainer (Chris) is outgoing, high energy and super helpful- he even helped me jumpstart my car once! Having the right trainer definitely makes a huge difference in helping you stick to your fitness goals and Chris definitely makes a difference with that. There are different membership options and pricing is competitive to all other group classes I came across the surrounding areas. 10/10 definitely recommend!!!”

“Suggestions: a larger sauna room because it can get packed sometimes, more open swimming lanes or another pool altogether; the pool has three open swim lanes & one walking lane. Make sure to check the schedule if the pool or court are open for use to the public. An additional hot tub or whirlpool with steam jets would be absolutely phenomenal. There are also no sleds or open artificial turf areas for certain exercises requiring extra space. This one certain rowing machine functions but it cannot play any of the fun game options (fixed on Feb 15, 2024).However, that being said, there are plenty of very high-quality pieces of exercise equipment including but not limited to: one full-sized basketball court that can be split by curtain into two arenas & used for four pickleball games at a time or any other sports/games. This first floor has two or so private or specialized group exercise rooms, a cozy sauna, six showers, and bring your own lock or use the super-convenient number pad lockers.Upstairs on the 2nd floor, there are three dumbbell racks that go from weights of 5 lbs up to 150 lbs, kettlebells go from 5 to 50 lbs, weighted medicine balls, varying stretch bands, many stationary bikes & treadmills, two stair masters, two squat racks (plus one squat-assist Smith machine), two bench presses, a three-lane track field, and any other equipment like the standard leg press, lat pull down machines, etc (because it's actually quite an extensive list). Almost two of each piece of equipment!Once the snow begins to melt away, will there be outdoor swimming lanes (to be determined)?Overall, this fitness center is very clean, modern, inclusive, comfortable, affordable, and has friendly or accommodating team members. Hopefully this review helps you make your decision ?”
