I tried to call the only branch Decatur,il. has left 3 times in a 30 minute period. No one would answer the phone. It is reasons like this that Im going to remove all my accounts except my home mortgage from this bank. PNC has closed 3 branches in Decatur and the customer service at the last remaining one is horrible to at best. I wouldnt reccomend this bank even if it was the last one standing!!!!!

Love my bank. The team here knows me and my wife by sight, ask personal intriguing questions about us and the kids and dogs and interact with us, weather we are at the window or the counter like we are family. Even the loan officers inside are upfront and helpful and open to all my questions, when I have them. I have only had a couple small hiccups, that the staff has willingly and quickly taken care of. The only single drawback I have is the drive through lanes feel very tight, even in my Dodge Dakota 1/4 ton. I wont even try to go through with my golf cart trailer hooked up, because I can not guarantee that I would safely fit.

Today, I went to get a certified check for one amount and make a deposit for another amount. I arrived at the drive through at 9 am. I explained to one teller what I wanted. Another teller came and wrote me a cashiers check for the amount I was trying to deposit and disregarded the type of check I asked for and the amount I asked the check to be made. Mistakes happen. They then made me wait 15 minutes to listen to what I had actually requested, and just told me there’s other customers. I asked for my money back so I could leave because I had to be at work at 930. They made me wait another 15 minutes to get my money back, didn’t make the deposit, didn’t get the certified check I needed, was late to work. Terrible service.Update: needed a wire transfer, took 30 mins just to get service.

Awful customer service! I have been a customer for over 20 years and suddenly started receiving monthly service charges. When I called to inquire about the issue, the representative argued with me for 10 minutes and then put me on hold for 15 while she went to find her manager. The issue remains unresolved!

Yeasterday I dealt with a gentleman which happens to be the app branch manger named Nick Baum. I stopped in to open an account to deposit extra cash into while I’m out of town from my home city where there are also plenty other PNC banks there as well. He began to question what I will be using the account for I told him so and he decided not to make a appointment to open account due to looking out for my best financial interest he was never assigned to me as my financial advisor of what so sort. So I was denied a bank account at this location and they never ran my application or anything. Horrible service must I say. Left me stranded with no hotel I should say just left me in a bad predicament above all he was not trying to help what so ever. Like I know I qualify for account but he made it to the point he never wanted me to bank with PNC at all never offered any other options or anything.

Called Branch on WATER with a question that had to be investigated and they would call me back. Days later, Manager leaves lengthy voice mail about my question and for me to call him back, never answered my simple Yes or No question. I call back and bank never answers telephone. i call THIS branch downtown , immediately get a person on the phone and my question answered. No need for all this phone tag....

They called And put me on hold . Ended hanging up . Called later that day and still have been on hold for 30 minutes & counting Very unprofessional.

Ladies at the front are nice, but if you need to talk to anyone else, there's usually one person sitting in their office and another person with a customer. I've had to walk out on several occasions. Shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to talk to someone. Also got a terrible interest rate on a loan despite being a customer and they've begun sneaking in $7 maintenance fees even if you have a large amount in savings. Service has gone downhill at PNC sadly.

They didn't send me a letter saying they were going green. When my account that I never use got overdrawn. They will not even try and help. this bank is for people who like to be ripped off and their hard earned money taken. I didn't believe at first they were like this. Now I know the truth. Posting this to WARREN EVER ONE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. Even when it's not your fault.
