“Mostly just go here to have deer butchered. They do a great job! Actually, they do an AMAZING job!! Could not believe how much meat they got off of the deer, and hardly wasted a THING! I got some sort of sausage there that was delicious, too. Nice folks! Good selections.”

“Its kinda weird because you walk into a gas station and work your way around to the back. Lots of sausages. Mostly all frozen. I bought breakfast sausages but they weren't cased. I didn't expect that, but they were good.
I think I'll try something from the fresh case next time, but I was expecting something more like weinemanns ...
You get your meat and check out on the gas station side. Also strange was that the gas station attendant was friendly but the meat counter and prepared foods counters never spoke to me, as I tried to figure out the freezer contents and make selections.”
“I was in need of some fried buffalo fish- I took the ride to Washington Illinois and haven’t been disappointed yet! The family all have different tastes and everyone was satisfied. I had Buffalo fish, Mac/cheese and sweet potatoes, and green beans; hubby had ham hocks (they were huge and meat falling off the bone tender) sweet potatoes and greens (heard they are glory greens/ that’s a no for me); daughter had whiting, Mac/cheese and sweet potatoes!
Dietary restrictions: well, if you aren’t supposed eat fried foods, this isn’t the place for you.
Parking: The lot isn’t very large and uneven, but turn around is quick, you get in and out in about 10 mins.”
