“i don’t typically leave a review for hotels unless there is something wrong, but i have to say this hotel was surprisingly great. so often hotels look nice in photos but are filthy or do not meet expectations for the price you’re paying. obviously the area is what it is, but the hotel itself is clean, the rooms are clean and you can SMELL that the bedding is clean. the bathroom was immaculate and the room was spacious. highly recommend if you need a place to stay in the area!”

“I've seen some pretty negative reviews about this place online and I don't understand why. They're just finishing up a big renovation project, and I thought the rooms were just fine. Comfortable bed. Working bathroom. A nice little kitchenette if you're staying there for more than a night. If you don't expect the Ritz-Carlton when you go to this place, you will not be disappointed. I would definitely stay here again on a road trip or if I were heading to Champaign for anything.”

“We stayed one night, traveling with our dog. We would stay again! Everything was modern, clean, and staff helpful. I appreciate the other reviews which helped us choose the location especially Rob's review.Rooms: The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was more than we needed for one night but we were very pleased. We travel with our dog and the extra space gave him some play room.Safety: The internal hallway doors latched and held. The buildings exterior doors latched and held. The lighting at front entrance was bright, but the parking area could have used a bit more lighting but it was a dark night.Noteworthy details: Check in was smooth. The hotel matched the online images. Parking was free.”

“The rooms are a little outdated but breakfast , dinner and two alcoholic drinks per adult are included in the nightly rate. Food was delicious and a big assortment of options were available for adults and kids! Pool and hot tub were very nice. The whole place was kid friendly.”

“Stayed here for a couple nights. Check in was easy, room was clean, housekeeping did a good job. Breakfast was good. They had the small individual milk cartons which is always preferred over a community milk gallon or jug. Didn’t get to use the pool but it was open. I would stay here again.”

“It is a good option to stay in CU area.I didn't stay here, but I booked the room for my friends. They were pleased with the room.Bed and rooms were cleaned. It was a bit small, but that was fine. They had good sleep.”

“This is an excellent budget property for an overnight stay on the road; not a luxury property, but comfortable and pleasant for a good night sleep. It met and exceeded expectations of a budget property in that it was clean, safe and well maintained. It was easy on and off access to the interstate.Rooms: The double was clean, spacious and very well maintained. It was impressive for a budget property. The room was clean and comfortable.Safety: The property provided safety in that a room key was required for access into the building. Only guests with a key were permitted to enter.”

“This isn't the Radisson, but the rooms are soundproof (I know this due to the young men basketball team that were also patrons), and the beds are comfortable. The continental breakfast was shut down an hour earlier than stated in the welcome packet for the weekend times. The pool is nice.”

“The pros:Room was super clean, no weird smells, no bugs, no stains, no random hairs that don't belong to me or mine.Great location, literally a few minutes from a TON of restaurants, retail, etc.Loved the desk chair!Wifi didn't give me any trouble at all.Grounds are nice! I stayed later in the year and the grass being allowed to go a little wild I think is beautiful. The owners are also into the local wildlife and have designated a couple of trees for the squirrels, which I think is adorable and great. The cons:Rooms and hotel are VERY dated.Mattresses (for my room) were so thin and so worn out that it was basically like sleeping on a pile of springs covered in a sheet. It's workable, but not easily.Pillows might as well be carpet. Heavy, old, not fluffy anymore.Small TV that's at least 15 years old.NO USB outlets anywhere. (I'm in tech, I need USBs and due to circumstances couldn't get any).Floor could use a redoing. No breakfast and they charge $5 for a dollar tree bowl of cereal.Walls are kinda thin, can't hear in detail what's being said, but can hear enough to know what the thumping is. (Poor dude didn't last a whole minute).Other than that, I really don't have any complaints. I got what I paid for. I chose to change hotels though for the USB issue and my back issues. If you are considering this hotel, 8/10 I'd recommend, it's great for what it is :)Safety: I felt safe staying here. There are cameras everywhere and there's always someone at the front desk to assist.Food & drinks: In less than 3/4 of a mile there are at least a dozen options for food, and even more for retail. Great location tbh.”

“The team at this Marriott found a very special stuffed animal that belongs to our 2 year old and took the effort to mail it back to us. I cannot say how meaningful this was to us and thank you so much!!Rooms: The love seat turned into a pullout bed for our toddler and she loved it.”

“First time ever staying in Champaign and at this hotel. Seems pretty new. The checkin was very easy since you can just use a digital key. The kitchenette is nice since it includes a refrigerator and freezer for storing drinks and ice packs. Beds are both queen sizes and they are clean and in good shape. The bathroom is updated and includes a walk in shower. There is plenty of food and drinks to walk to from this location. Lots of parking. The indoor pool looks nice but no time to swim this time.”

“Rooms were nice, but the hotel is a little older so not as many amenities as other hotels however, breakfast was included, and snacks, water, and pop were available at no charge if you needed them. The pleasant staff made this a nice place to stay.”

“I had no problems at this motel even though there are a few bad reviews about it. I am here now and I don't have any complaints about the room or the front desk staff. This is a nice place to stay if you are staying in Champaign.”

“The rooms and breakfast was really good. The service was great. I did not rate 5 star because the website was down and the girl at desk was not able to use points we have to help with cost of room.”

“Very nice room and spacious. My only take away is, in my room in the bathroom, there is only one shower door which leads to water getting all in the floor. The water is so soft that it took 24 minutes to get shampoo and conditioner all out of my hair. The bottom of the shower was so slick because the water is too soft that it wouldn't wash everything down the drain. Very dangerous especially for older people. Please check the water.”
