I did my research and was prepared to have to haggle to get a fair price. The items I was selling were weighed and their offer was literally 99.6% of what I was hoping to receive. On the buy side, I was really impressed with the extremely minimal markup. What a pleasant surprise as a first-time customer here! It was such a smooth experience and it's no surprise that Pete's has such a loyal following. I will certainly be back, and wouldn't consider taking my business elsewhere.”
“Didn’t plan on stopping here, but I’m really glad I did today. The place feels like it’s been curated by someone with a love for the unusual every shelf has something that makes you pause and look twice. What really stood out was how relaxed it felt; no pressure, no rush, just space to browse. One of the attendants behind the counter struck up conversation and somehow managed to recommend exactly what I didn’t know I was looking for. They so many dice and RPGs I felt I could spend days in there. Walked out in a better mood, a new place to roam and with a game I absolutely didn’t intend to buy. Would happily wander back in again.”

“Prices are reasonable, tons of sell-out/clearance items, had the lcg chassis I was looking for for my slash. Everyone was friendly and eager to help, but not annoyingly like they were watching over you. I live in Indiana and will definitely be making the trip back out until my area gets a decent hobby store that has rc parts. If you need anything rc and right away, this place should be your first call.”

“I love this store. The person who runs it is very nice, and provides a dance teacher discount which is amazing! They carry Bloch and Capezio canvas ballet flats. I chose Capezio, which they helped me chose a size in, and they are holding up well. We were in and out in 10 minutes. Great stuff”
“I came here for the Gunpla, was not super disappointed but I wish they had more kits. At the time I visited they had about 15 different kits, which isn't a ton. Some of the kits were very hard to find physically out in stores like the MG Freedom Ver 2.0, so that was a pleasant surprise. The kits were overpriced but on a 40% discount which equaled out to a good deal. All in all, not a bad place to pop in and check out here and there!”
“Among the many philatelic (stamp) auction houses Rasdale is a standout.Their auction catalogues are worth the price of admission: lively and well written with just the right touch of humor. Even if you don't participatethey are a delight to read. I've successfully acquired many choice items fromthem. And if you are selling (far too common these days) you can rest assured their mid-western values and character will guide you painlessly.Whether you are perusing their extensive catalogue for elusive items for your collection, or selling dad's (or grandpa's) cherished stamp albums I cannot recommend them highly enough. PS-why don't you keep one of your father's albums for yourself? I think the kids would love pouring over it!”
“Giving this store 4-stars for their efficient check out process on what is known as the busiest day of the year, the Saturday before Christmas. They had 4 cashiers and a single file line that went back half way to the end of the store. Here's how they addressed the issue of getting people checked out as quickly as possible. They had an employee walk the line of waiting customers with some sort of hand-held machine where she scanned a customer's purchases, bagged them and then gave them a card with their purchase information scanned in. This way, as each person got to the next in line position, their cashier only had to scan the customer's card, which listed all of their purchases , accept the payment and print the receipt! You're on your way because your purchases have already been bagged. Next in line, please. Good customer service on the busiest day of the year.”

“BIRTHDAY PARTY REVIEW: After a terrible experience with customer service who cancelled my party and was unable to rebook it, I thought my daughter’s birthday party was ruined. Thanks to Stacey in customer service who found a solution and especially to Beth, the Michael’s party host for my daughter’s birthday today 1/25/26! Beth was amazing! “I’ve been shopping at this place close to a year now, and it’s been a generally good store when you’re attempting to find specific singles you might not find elsewhere. They do have increased prices, but that’s what you get for both the convenience of an easy to access kiosk/directory and the inventory of quality/obscure products you would get for certain decks. Each of the employees are actually super friendly and extremely knowledgeable on tcg’s and tabletop games, and are inviting in conversation, especially the owner. The place is more organized than any other card shop I’ve been through, where you have to stay for hours hunched over binders and boxes of sets looking for cards. This place has friendly and happy regulars for a reason!”
