“This is a second review I’m leaving under my real name (see other review under @the English Professor).I’ve been a satisfied customer of Fox Valley Coins since 2021 and would send my family to all of these guys if I were on my death bed and needed to recommend where they should go to sell my collection. Christian, Mike, and all of the guys there are consistently friendly and professional and I always feel well taken care of when I’m in the shop.I’m responding to the negative review from customer Scott for the purpose of highlighting the owner’s classy response and follow up response to Scott’s misunderstanding of what occurred during his experience at FVC. Who takes the time to compose a thorough and sincere response like that to an insatiate review like the one Scott left? The answer is: an owner who cares about his customers and the legacy of his business. He explained what happened, acknowledged that there was likely a misunderstanding during the transaction, and wasn’t insulting or condescending to Scott in responding to the review. That’s class, in my book, and that’s why I continue to patronize Fox Valley Coin on a regular basis. I have four different local coin shops I rely on and FVC is always at the top of my list.”

“This is the very ideal of a neighborhood card shop! I went for the first time to get a last minute Christmas gift and brought my three kids. Even on a busy morning with other customers in the store, Dean and Marilyn could not have been nicer. They played and joked with my 2 yo daughter and even gave her a Pokemon card that has quickly become her prized possession. This is what kind local business looks like; I can't wait to go back (and neither can my daughter)!”

“As an artist & photographer- This is one of my go to stores. It’s easy to spend too much time looking at what they have and what is new. They are always ahead of the holidays for the crafty people. I saw Valentine’s Day, St.Patricks Day and even Easter decorations out in Jan. Their framing department is top notch and I have had several personal pieces framed here with peace of mind. They have a new state of the art self check out computer at the counter which shows the product pictures on screen and will likely speed up your process after spending all that time filling up your cart. ;)”
