“This spot is def a hidden gem. Not surprised that it was not found on yelp. When you walk in through the front it is a store front, but the real magic happens in the back. Everything from menudo, to home made tamales, to tacos can be ordered in the back. If you enjoy real home cooked Mexican food this is the place for you. I started off with a simple but delicious bean taco. It sounds easy but there's an art to it and when I tried to ask how they made the beans the answer was simple "secret recipe." Then I moved to the main dish, menudo. What a joy that was, simmering and quite delicious and then I finished the meal with homemade tamales. Guys if you're looking for authentic Mexican food this is the spot for you. Ask for Lola when you walk in. Like I said think of this spot as a speak easy of food, hidden gem is in the back. “Came here to eat as their little restaurant is kind of a hidden gem. Had great "caldo de res" and it was amazing. Will try their tacos next time as they looked great. This place is inside a market that is super clean. Their produce is super fresh. Highly recommend!”
