“These guys really know their business. They are the real "helpful hardware men" as the commercial states and a pleasant change from the giant and typically unhelpful Home Depot. This ACE has repeatedly saved me time and money by suggesting better solutions for home repair. The selection is surprisingly good also and usually has at least a couple of solutions to every home repair problem. Just ask and they will tell you the best solution!On one occasion I had called a professional plumber who declared my kitchen plumbing problem "too hard" with the plumber complaining about the depth of the sink and the relatively high location of the single drain pipe (for three drains). The plumber then slipped out the back, leaving me to solve my own problem. I took a trip to the ACE and the associate at this ACE spent over an hour helping me solve this plumbing problem, with the ACE associate placing more than a dozen plumbing parts on the floor in the proper order... I went home and by the end of the day it was working.On another occasion, I went to this ACE thinking I would buy some WD-40 to loosen rusted screws in order to remove a broken screen door. The ACE associate showed me the WD-40 but then suggested an alternate product "PB Blaster" which I purchased on their recommendation. I returned home and applied the PB Blaster to the rusted screws on the screen door. Several screws were rusted on tight and resisted my efforts to loosen them. The instruction for the PB Blaster advises waiting a few minutes for the Blaster to soak in, so it seemed like a good time to take a lunch break. I returned from lunch to find the rusted screws popped out, and the screen door on the ground. Wow, just wow.So, if there is such a thing as a home repair magician, these guys are it!Highly recommended.”

Conveniently located in the hole at 63rd and main. I'm sure the only reason this parking lot doesn't flood out is because of the enginuity of the Ace hardware employees!”

“I had broken the elbow off my bathtub drain shoe while trying to get the drain out. Spent days trying to find a replacement on the Internet. Failed a couple times. Decided to go to Harlem plumbing. The salesman took a couple seconds, and gave me everything I needed.Drain fixed!I had the slip joint nut and plumbers putty already. He had, the shoe the drain and the gasket for me. Very happy with the service.”

We were a bit skittish about redoing the rest of the bathrooms, but after meeting George at Kitchen & Bath Mart, we immediately trusted him. George did not disappoint. He (and Joe) thoughtfully designed two beautiful bathrooms, which perfectly matched two showers that they didn't even put in. George was unfailingly prompt, reliable, thorough and professional, every step of the way. George, Joe and Dennis kept us updated, started our project exactly when they said they would, and and helped to create two bathrooms that felt like luxury at a very reasonable cost. The construction team, headed by Shaun, was as professional, prompt, courteous, and detail-oriented as George and his team. Shaun and his team were even able to help us with much-needed drywall and paint repairs in our home, which were not part of our original project. We are forever grateful to Kitchen & Bath Mart! “Fantastic service from Dave B. Another hardware store copied a house key for me, but it didn’t work in the lock. I could see that the key wasn’t cut properly, so I took it back to that store & showed them the problem. Instead of correcting the issue (which they told me they couldn’t do) they simply cut another key…and it was wrong again. Seeing the futility of going back to the same store, I decided to try Norwood Ace Hardware instead. I explained my issue, and Dave B cut a new key for me. He assured me it would work…and he was right. It worked like a charm, and Dave even fixed the badly cut key from the other store, so now I have an extra key. Thank you very much Dave for working your magic! I’ll be using Norwood Ace now, even if it is a bit farther from my house.”

But really this place has great deals on tools if you ask me they're not the very best ones but they are definitely affordable... If you are looking for the right tool at a lower price this is your place... If you are looking for high quality eh they're not bad really... I'm here to tell you that you get what you pay for... Will harbor freight hammers hammer in that nail hell yeah will that harbor freight screw driver screw and unscrew hell yeah... will it last you as long as others probably... but when it comes to the bigger tools and some of the other stuff that you find at harbor freight I'm not sure exactly how long they will last.... comparing tools one to the next is all about need and want what do you need compared to what do you want... this is the part of the review where I add on some extra words for extra points... oooooh points...!!
