The owner and his partner went over and beyond to help my fiancé, and my 2 brothers in-law find their suit. Not only are the suits flexible and comfortable but they have by far the best attention to detail. They gave us quite a few different options and were so patient with us. “Daniel is an artist. I have two suits that he made for me, and both of them are gorgeous. The attention to detail, quality, craftsmanship are all impeccable, and the experience of having a suit custom made is gratifying. Recently, after buying a suit in 2019, a small tear appeared exposing the fly. I wrote to Daniel asking for advice, and he promptly booked an appointment for me to drop it off. A week later, it was mended and pressed, free of charge, and looked brand new. I highly recommend Daniel!”

The Kercher team had already delivered on a suit I ordered the year prior, and a couple custom shirts, so I already knew I was in great hands... but I was blown away by the wedding suit.Was able to collaborate on all aspects, had multiple fittings to ensure the fit was just right, and the suit was ready a week before our wedding date. “I was there couple of months ago to buy a vetra jacket that was on sale. Since I bought from this place before I send them an email to ask if they could put it on hold for me because I wasn’t in Chicago yet but no answer came. I send a second email, still no answer. When I finally made it to Chicago and came to the shop I said very kindly that I send emails and would’ve liked at least an answer instead of being ignored especially since I’m a returning customer. The person that was there was super defensive and snippy. Instead of apologizing he just started constantly snipping at me. I thought to myself fine I just drop it cuz I didn’t wanna get into a discussion but this guy just from now on wouldn’t stop being snippy and rude to me even while I paid the jacket I bought. Very frustrating experience!Edit: when the guys from independence heard of my experience they came forward and were very nice and accommodating. Therefore I changed my rating.”
