“Incredible customer service! Opted for email Christmas gift card for my wife. Sales person said she would drop off a nicer gift card tonight than the email version. She said the nicer gift certificate wouldn't arrive by mail for Christmas! It reminds me when I was young and door to door sales were popular. My father had ordered some combs and hair brushes for my mom for Christmas. The salesman delivered them on Christmas Eve because he knew they were Christmas presents. He was in his 60's and his wife had died that morning. Granted the gift certificate drop off is not as dramatic. But the thoughtfulness, customer care, and going the extra mile is the same. “Having worked on Jeweler's Row (Wabash & Madison) back in the 90's I find Sierra Gem conveniently located, not in the desert but in DuPage County where I can zip in and zip out with little fuss or fanfare. I used to have a lot of connections, now I have a G.G. (Graduate Gemologist) in Steve. Best is you generally deal with the owner directly. 4 stars because his operating hours can be a little difficult to predict, so phone first. I usually direct people here for appraisals and custom jewelry design. I'll take Steve over mass produced "K" any day (God made each of us 1-of-a-kind, so why go to Jared for a Pandora?).”

They gave him multiple options of how to do it and kept tweaking it until it was exactly what he wanted! We also got our wedding bands from Gloria's! The staff is so friendly and helpful!
