An interesting underground experience. It is hard to believe the working conditions for these miners. Lots to learn here. Our guide was well informed, had actually worked in the mines, and now teaches mining to high school students.

My group really enjoyed this tour. The trolley ride to the mine was informative about the town history and the guide at the mine was wonderful. As a retired miner he had great insight into life and history of the silver mining industry. The tour was interesting and felt interactive. If you have time to only do one tour in the area this is the one to choose.

This was an interesting mine and the tour guide and trolley driver were both very welcoming and funny. You can tell people love what they do here and have a passion for educating people on mining. The tour guide was a miner for a very long so he was very knowledgeable. A nice tour and I would highly recommend!

I've done a lot of mine tours... actual operating mines and the novelty mine tours such as the Sierra Silver Mine. This tour was one of the best I've ever been on. The tour guides are great. The demonstrations and artifacts are period time, all in all fantastic.

I grew up in Coeur d'Alene, Id and have driven through Wallace and stopped there over many years. I have always wanted to do the Mining Tour since my dad worked in Kellogg at the Zinc Plant. I decided that this would be a fun day trip for my granddaughter( who is 9) and I. It was so fun. We got a little tour of the town and its history. My granddaughter was most impressed that when we went in the mine that we were really underground. Lenny our tour guide was awesome!

The tour of the mine which was wonderful and the guide a former miner Fast Freddie was very knowledgeable, engaging, and entertaining was outstanding. I would give this place 5 stars however, the driver for the tour was indifferent to the female military members on the tour. He started out asking were there any military or vets on board. Those that were, raised their hands including myself and a fellow female military vet. He acknowledged the male vets by speaking to them directly but never acknowledged the female vets. It was evident he focused on the male vets by engaging them during the drive to the mine and back. If you are going to ask the question be courteous enough to acknowledge all members of the military or do not ask the question in the first place. The driver mentioned Wyatt Earp during his talk. As we were dropped off, I tried to engage with the driver to let him know that my ancestrial family had ties with Wyatt Earp he basically brushed me off. My friend had the same feeling during the drive. I then left and now my review speaks for itself. Without saying the word sexist I think I am getting my point across.

One of the best historical tours I have ever taken! Rob, our trolley driver was outstanding! He made the trip to and from the mine a blast, and truly knows Wallace history. Our guide in the mine, Lee, was equally knowledgeable and really encouraged audience participation. It was lovely to be on a tour where questions were actually welcomed. Also, he never made us feel like a nuisance when we did ask questions. Though I am a CDA resident, I would love to tour the mine again to glean more local information from those two. They are the true gems! I would absolutely recommend the tour to anyone who loves history!

The town was beautiful and the tour was amazing. I've never been on a tour where they actually demonstrated the equipment. Lenny's stories were informative and funny too!

Amazing and educational experience led by a professional miner with over 30 years of experience! The trolly ride added additional town information. One of the best things we did on our week long trip to Idaho.

Lenny was funny and informative. The trolley ? driver was very good. Short ride to the mine, if it's hot outside you don't really need a jacket. Wear sturdy shoes, there's various small areas of standing water. And then a small tour of the town. I would recommend, but not highly recommend.
