“Love this store! So clean, organized, and well stocked. Almost too well lol. Found literally 3 of the same shirt in the same size, which is sometimes tough with a popular cut or design. Checkout lines can be long, but maybe they need more staff? Not sure, but I'd still recommend more than Marshalls etc especially if you live more of an active lifestyle as the merch is more geared towards that.”

“The aisles were clean and wide, nothing I needed was out of stock, the prices were Costco-good, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the self-checkout lane was quick and easy.”

“I came in today asking questions on some items I was looking for and some of the workers weren’t very helpful and rude. They almost seemed bothered that I asked. I felt very uncomfortable after that until this sweet Mexican lady came to my rescue. She showed me where I could find what I was looking for. She made the whole experience so much better for my daughter and I. I am super thankful I met her and wished I got her name. I’ll be coming in again because of her.”

“I really like the good selections of clothing at the store. The only thing which was really bad is the fitting room, there was no one to put clothes back, so many clothes in all the fitting rooms.”

“This is my alternative to shopping at the mall. Usually find good deals there but my size seems to be slim pickings lately.
Still good to peruse the store. Cleaner and more organized than the other Ross in the valley”

“My daughter was looking for dresses for two wedding events we have coming up. Diana approached us with a friendly smile and asked if we needed any help. She asked what my daughter liked and politely asked if it was ok to pick some things out for her. She was genuine and relatable. Diana you are awesome. She has stellar costumer service skills. Would love to see her again on my next visit.”

“Pretty much a standard Walmart. Run well. No surprises. The pharmacy is perhaps above average. We have had a very good experience with this WalMart’s pharmacy.”

“Jake is Amazing!! He was very patient & kind with my kids as they tried to pick blankets out for Christmas presents. It was close to closing time & he didn't rush them at all. He is a great asset to your customer service team! Thank you Jake.”

“Very friendly staff, nice clean store, my biggest complaint is their clearance stuff wasn't marked very well so I spent alot of time having to check stuff on my walmart app price scanner to figure out prices.”

“When I came into the store asking about the cost of water and ice tea for Cassandra's Celebration of Life.
Jaime asked if he could help me. When I explained what I needed and why. He talked to the manager. Those 2 men worked it out and gave me an AWESOME deal.
Because of that type of customer service. When I am in town, I go out of my way to shop there.”

“I have been going to steelz for a while now they are always very friendly and helpful when you have any questions and they have great deals and good quality products. I would definitely recommend this store for all of your needs”

“It's Walmart. As an 80s kid, I prefer K-mart. Staff is helpful. Self checkout registers are suspect. They tell me my card isn't accepted, chip or magnetic slide, then it works on the 4th attempt. Maybe Skynet? This is the year Kyle Reese says it happens. Food prices and selection will never beat Winco. Electronics department employees are very helpful and good to deal with.”

“Do they hand out 'courteous, friendly and customer focused pills' in the employee breakroom here? Whatever it is that makes it so for everyone who works at this Costco, I wish they could bottle and distribute it to all retailers. I am no Costco fan in general . True story, when I lived in the Bay Area about 35 years ago and was in a Costco for the first time I almost started to hyperventilate from seeing just TOO MUCH of everything and I went outside to wait on my husband to shop. And in the 20 years we lived in Bend (OR), between the crush of tourists (now about 1.5 Million a year to that once little mountain town) and explosive growth the Costco experience was torture for how unpleasant many of the understandably hassled employees were. (I grew to dislike the contingent of rude tourists too. Just sayin'.) I was an ABC, anything but Costco, shopper. SELECTION OF THINGS WE NEED TO BUY + GREAT SERVICE HERE HAS WON ME OVER: and makes even me look forward to our roughly 3 times a year shopping trips. As in today when we left with beautiful organic berries (four kinds), Kleenex, lemons and limes, a bottle of Zinfandel for my dad (he's 91 and it fit our "90+ spectator rating / $20-" ;-) rule for drinking his fav varietal with him ), Beecher's Flagship cheddar, what passes for 'junk food' at our house in the form of Tru-Fru dark chocolate dipped frozen raspberries (seriously, these are SO good) and Milton's brand gluten free frozen veggie pizza (good stuff in its' category) and lots and lots of AA batteries (which is what we went in for). So many that the checker said "I gotta ask?" as he rang them up. Battery operated window shades was my husband's reply. "Ah! Now I get it! ." chuckled this nice guy. As was the young guy, really hustling, who boxed up our purchases, for literally sprinting to the parking lot to tag a customer who left behind vitamins to get them to her before she departed. All of this with a smile. Nice. Very nice.TIMING IS EVERYTHING: here and it is best to avoid the time when, to crib Bill Joel, "the regular crowd shuffles in" to eat the hot dogs and pizza and whatever else at the food service, wait in line and order counter in the front of the store. I do not get it, but clearly I am the oddball here to not appreciate those eats. It is nearly SRO for food service and it adds to the crush of cars in the parking lot that looks huge but is always too small for the number of shoppers. Also if you can get in and out before they start the free samples in the food section, that is swell too for fewer people. And absolutely avoid weekends if you can do that at this store where it seems it is a family affair to bring the kids to Costco for entertainment and let them run around to explore and in particular at the samples stations. Go figure. GAZING IN MY CRYSTALL BALL: We have only been shopping here for a year, it opened maybe 2+ years ago, but seeing more frequent stops in here during this Summer and Fall given they carry the same brand of organic berries of all kinds that we buy at another retailer in the area and the Costco ones were fresher and 30% less. It will not be my fault if a bag of Tru-Fru frozen chocolate covered raspberries jump out of the freezer case into my cart each time too.”

“It's Walmart. But then, all Walmarts are not the same. Two things that I find extraordinary about this Walmart. The Arts and Crafts section will put Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby to shame. At least for the things that I need. Cricut stencil working material vinal and tons of other crafting items. I didn't think Walmart invested so much in that but this one does. This Walmart is exceptionally cleaner than most that I've seen and the staff are knowledgeable of all ages working together doing a great job. Generally Walmart gets a three or four for me but if five is good.”

“Initially Marisa helped us when we were looking for a wedding band. She was very knowledgeable and much more helpful than the young man we spoke to at Kay Jeweler's in the mall. She offered several options, was very patient with us trying on things and let me know about an upcoming sale that would save us money. When I returned to purchase my bands, Lori (assistant manager) was the only one there. She was very helpful, personable and called the leasing place after I had questions that she wasn't able to answer. I left confident, taken care of and happy with my purchase!”

“I have more trouble with the people in the parking lot then the store itself. Employees are relatively helpful but nothing outstanding as it is self checkout and there is little interaction. Good store to buy pretty much anything from.”

“I recently switched to Fred Meyer from Walmart and I absolutely love it! I will never go back to Walmart again. FM has super friendly staff, they still have clerks, and they have a good amount of sales and deals every day. Thanks guys for being so great! ....except for that guy that gathers carts that always has the mask on... You're rude AF”

“I love Fred Meyer, I mean common they were the only "General Store" in Idaho until Walmart (which was looked at as an oddity. It was late 1999 or 1998 when Walmart came to Boise. Fred Meyer has always had quality products, household, housewares, furniture, decor, clothing, intimates, fantastic produce, meat, deli, and ahead of all the little pop ups when it comes to the new trend in consumer food products "vegan", "organic", "gluten free" and they continue to grow and remain the front runner. Their prices were beet by Walmart before Covid if one does not utilize the reward system, ads, coupons; both electronic and paper. I save more and get better products from a Northwest local supply chain supporter with amazing products and service. You have to utilize your rewards and don't miss the Founders sale. We actually on vacation went to the first Kroger (and still the corporate store) in Oregon. It's multi level and awesome. I love FM. Two of three of my children work for the company. They started while in high school. They are great employers as well.”

“This review is for the jewelry department. I'd been on the hunt for the perfect wedding band for a few months now with nothing really jumping out at me. It also doesn't help that some salespeople at higher end places are too pushy and the prices too high. My fiance and I stopped by here on a whim and after we bought some skyr and fruit and I worked with Lucas. We tried a few on but nothing was looking/feeling right for me then he suggested the one I went with. We had to check and see if the size I needed was available. The system was down so he took down my name and number and he gave me a call to tell me yes it could be ordered in my size. I asked Lucas when he was working next to make sure he got commission.Went in today and Lucas wasn't there but the manager Josh made sure Lucas got credit for the sale and we had some laughs a good conversation while we waited for the computer to print everything out. I can tell the people working this department are well taken care of and I hope upper management recognizes Josh and Lucas for their enthusiasm and hard work. Also, a ring and some groceries and still cheaper than shopping at Albertsons.”

“I have seen all these complaints about customer service and etc. This is a really good pharmacy and very professionally run. But, like pretty much everyplace these days, they have staffing shortages. The lead person there is an excellent pharmacist called Scott. I’ve been using them for several years now, and of course there have been a few times when the medical provider and the pharmacy get some signals crossed. But that is not at all common. I know how stressful and frustrating it can be standing in a line for a long time, but my opinion is that they are doing the very best they can in today’s world. So great job Fred’s Pharmacy!”
