“I cannot recommend this salon enough, this was one of the best hair experiences I’ve ever had! I am so impressed by the quality and artistry of my stylist Morgan, the results were even better than I imagined, and I’ve already received so many compliments. :) if you’re looking for a dimensional blonde look Morgan is your gal!Aside from the beautiful results of my hair I really enjoyed the experience and atmosphere of the salon. “I got this really nice coat made by Avalanche, for $59.99, that has six zipper pockets, a pouch pocket and a removable hood! It is made of 100% Polyester and has some adjustable straps. The store looked nice as well and they had some intriguing candies at the check out, but I didn't get any.”
“I had a return/exchange problem with a top purchased at another store in another state, and did not have the receipt. Julie, (who appeared to be a supervisor and was helping out at the service counter near the front entrance during the remodel) accessed the computer system to find my transaction at the Kohl's in Oregon for my original purchase and facilitated the exchange & refund. She was understanding, courteous, helpful, and made my difficult transactions work. MANY THANKS!”
“After having a horrible experience in Boise in their jewelry department. I went to Nampa to see if they could help me. The manager was wonderful, walked me through some scenarios as to why my ring has been delayed.she tried to call the warehouse where rings are shipped to to get reaized but they were already closed for the day. She gave me the warehouse number so I could call them the next day and ask them to look up my ring to figure out what is going on. I really appreciate her!”
“Standout service. This was a complex issue that had taken five solid hours with no resolve, running circles with extended teams, Supervisors, onshore, offshore, Mars. I was beyond fatigued, frustrated, and jaw-dropped at repeat, unexplained difficulties. Why????!
Enter Eric, who leads Beauty and Women's, with top-of-the-line concierge and creative problem-solving skills. (I'm used to Nordstrom :) Eric knew the right thing to do is to listen, hear the gaps, access experiences relevant to resolution, and make things right.
We worked together like peers, exploring paths, scenarios of solutions, getting detailed on pros/cons/options, my asking questions, Eric providing good data. Throughout, Eric was so polite and patient, my jaw dropped again, this time, in awe, added-to by Linda.
Linda brought high-value wisdom, advising from an on-the-ground view of shopper habits, finalized a plan-of-action and creatively-solved new, complex logistics. Linda's superpower also includes accommodating special needs, which she did swiftly, with kindness.
The impact a retail interaction can have on well-being, functioning, reducing stress, etc., is not to be underestimated. Snags at pick-up almost made he whole transaction undesirable, but things got back on-track. All-in-all, still par excellence, well worth coming back for.
Update: Order was as described, better in quality than anticipated: Refined fabric, exquisite softness, French seams, European-tailoring, flawless finishing. These were in Macy's house-brand, which I'd never tried; men's shirts on deep sale which rendered two for <$25. Could not be more pleased. Well done, Macy's!

I felt very uncomfortable after that until this sweet Mexican lady came to my rescue. She showed me where I could find what I was looking for. She made the whole experience so much better for my daughter and I. I am super thankful I met her and wished I got her name. I’ll be coming in again because of her.”
“We made two very large purchases this weekend. Our cashier Lexi was the best! She greeted us with a smile and had great energy as she checked us out the first day we went in. We came back today and she saw us while shopping and greeted us again with a smile. At checkout we got lucky and had her as our cashier again. “Fred Meyers fuel center is always clean, always busy but there are enough gas pumps that you can almost always get your car in and refill right away. This is in contrast to something like Costco where you often have to wait for a few cars to fill up.The added plus to Fred Meyer over something like Costco is that you can pick up really convenient and necessary items while you pump gas such as car fluids or firewood or a snack and a drink.”

“Excellent place to get your hair cut and colored. They have an amazing staff of professionals. I have had my hair cut and colored here. Super friendly. Both experiences were good and with different stylists. The salon is at the back of the store by bedding. You can easily book online sometimes the same day. If you enter the doors facing Happy Valley Rd., enter and then take the 2nd left back to the salon. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.”
“It's Walmart. As an 80s kid, I prefer K-mart. Staff is helpful. Self checkout registers are suspect. They tell me my card isn't accepted, chip or magnetic slide, then it works on the 4th attempt. Maybe Skynet? This is the year Kyle Reese says it happens. Food prices and selection will never beat Winco. Electronics department employees are very helpful and good to deal with.”
“It's Walmart. But then, all Walmarts are not the same. Two things that I find extraordinary about this Walmart. The Arts and Crafts section will put Joann Fabric and Hobby Lobby to shame. At least for the things that I need. Cricut stencil working material vinal and tons of other crafting items. I didn't think Walmart invested so much in that but this one does. This Walmart is exceptionally cleaner than most that I've seen and the staff are knowledgeable of all ages working together doing a great job. Generally Walmart gets a three or four for me but if five is good.”
“The Walmart in Mountainhome is actually very well run and pretty well stocked. It’s the only really large store in Mount home and it really is necessary. The auto repair part where they sell tires. They have some employees there that are pretty rude. I would never go there again I would go to the Walmart in Nampa for that.”
“Initially Marisa helped us when we were looking for a wedding band. She was very knowledgeable and much more helpful than the young man we spoke to at Kay Jeweler's in the mall. She offered several options, was very patient with us trying on things and let me know about an upcoming sale that would save us money. When I returned to purchase my bands, Lori (assistant manager) was the only one there. She was very helpful, personable and called the leasing place after I had questions that she wasn't able to answer. I left confident, taken care of and happy with my purchase!”
