We frequent ophthalmology and have been to both dental and cardiology. All specialities have worked well together when needed and cared deeply about our pups. We’ve had one emergency visit and they made a bad situation better. WestVet is a blessing!”

“Habitat gave the best care to my 2.8 lb Netherland Dwarf bunny who had a serious abscess on her head that required surgery. Bunnies are so susceptible to anesthesia. I was informed of the issue and told that they would update me from start to end and recovery from the surgery. And they did. Tinamarie had the best outcome. Thank you Dr. Everett, Katie and the office staff. I am so grateful for you care of Tinamarie….and also me.”

“Critter Clinic is an amazing place to take your pup. The knowledge,compassion,and flexibility has been incredible to say the least. They have always taken great care of each pet that I had. My baby of 16 years had to be euthanized January 2ns, 2024. It has been a very hard and miserable journey saying goodbye. I know that Lilo is now in a better place and pain free. Thanks to all the staff at Critter Clinic for their compassion and empathy. I still have one pup left and I can say with certainty that I will continue using Critter Clinic for all my pets needs. “Edit*Thank you so much for your kind and prompt response. I really appreciate that. I changed my initial 1 star review so that my past experience with previous staff does not reflect new ownership and current practices. I am happy to hear that animal safety is your top priority.Dishonest and neglectful staff. Took my 2 year old healthy bull dog in for an elective spay and she died less than an hour after she was discharged from internal bleeding after suffering a fall at the vet. Unfortunately this was not disclosed to me until the next day when I returned sobbing to find out what happened. The Dr admitted she fell out of her elevated kennel onto her stomach and he did not evaluate her afterwards, but rather ordered more pain meds for her whimpering. To his defense, he did own the neglectful death and reimbursed me and the emergency vet I took her to when her heart stopped. The 2nd vet opened her incision after she died and said she had internally bled to death. Still, I would not recommend this vet clinic. This was 7 years ago, but until recently the thought of what happened was too upsetting to write a review. I would hope practices have changed since then, but had I read a review like this one I wouldn’t have taken my dog to this clinic.”

“THIS IS THE MOST FRIENDLY'S PLACE IN THE BACK OFFICE. THE TECH. WAS HAPPY AND VERY FRIENDLY SO WAS THE DOCTOR.THE PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE AND I'M A SENIOR SO THEY WORKED WITH ME ON THAT PART OF THE BILL. VERY HAPPY WITH THAT.MY BABY IS MY BABY AND HE HAS DOING HAPPY PEE PEES. SO I KNOW HE JUST LOVED THE STAFF ALSO.HE HAD A YEAST INFECTION IN HIS EAR ,THEY LET ME KNOW TGE COST FOR TREATMENT, I AGREED,HE GOT HIS TREATMENT AND WE WENT UP FRONT TO PAY.WELL UP FRONT COULD USE A LOT IF IMPROVEMENTS. THEY ARE NOT AS FRIENDLY AS THEY WERE WHEN I MADE MY APPOINTMENT. IT WAS LIKE AN ICE BOX. ZERO .IT TOOK MAYBE 15 MINUTES TO DO MY CARE CREDIT CARD ?? M/C AND THEN SHE NEEDED MY DRIVERS LICENSE ? WHY.BECAUSE MY DOG DOESN'T HAVE ONE?MEANWHILE THE ENTIRE APPOINTMENT TOOK ABOUT ONE AND A HALF HOURS.I'M NOT SURE IF I'LL USE THEM AGAIN .I WAS LOOKING FOR SOMETHING ON THE NORTH END.SO GOOD LUCK IF YOU LIVE ON THE BENCH IT'S A GOOD PLACE.”
“I recently adopted a 5-year-old dog, with unexpected severe separation anxiety. Dr. Baxter was incredibly patient and empathetic with my concerns and his needs. She seemed to genuinely be listening and followed up by explaining things to do, I never felt rushed or dismissed. We have had him for 3 weeks now, and after recommendations from her, along with PRN medication, our dog is doing amazing. Very thankful :)”

“I love Boise Cat Clinic. Every member of the staff is kind, helpful, and friendly. Costs are transparent, they thoroughly explain all steps of examinations and procedures, and I know they have my cats’ best interest above all else! I’ve personally never felt more welcomed or comfortable at another vet clinic and my cats like it too (or at least they don’t hate going, ha!) Examinations are gentle and my cats love the Churus they give to distract from anything uncomfortable. From elderly cat care to my new kittens, I’ve brought my cats here for it all, and only have good things to say. Thanks Boise Cat Clinic!”

“The vets & all staff here was SO gracious as I navigated "co parenting" a senior cat w/a neighbor...long story short, due to cats' severe anemia (unfortunately not caught until far gone) in the end we had to euthanize her at 17 1/2 yr old... but her last weeks of life were especially comfortable & peaceful in my hm... thanks to Dr Reiner facilitating a transdermal version of nausea med (w/Customedica) & better food, as well as oxygen & monitoring services. They really went above & beyond in so many aspects. Prices were very reasonable, & though I prefer Feline Only Vet Practices normally... I felt very comfortable bringing my cat here, a mixed small animal hospital. (This place is NOT to be mixed up w/Eagle Animal Clinic.) This excellent vet practice is located by the Eagle Post Office.)”
“My friend’s cat needed dental work and some matted fur cut. I took her it. They are super nice there. My daughter in law worked there during the summer when she was on vet school summer break. She recommended them.Today my friend’s cat is limping. She still can jump on the bed and get around. So tomorrow morning I’m taking her in to see what’s wrong.Well the vet carefully examined Shandy couldn’t find anything wrong. She pulled and pushed gently on 1st her non limping leg then the right leg. She said bring her back on Monday if she’s still limping. She’s walking much better now.”

“I feel so grateful we were referred to Intermountain Pet Hospital on Chinden Rd. From the very first interaction on the phone and every in-person encounter, I was so impressed. Several clean and roomy exam rooms are a plus, but it was the interaction of every person with both our dogs that made us sure we found the right vet for us.Each person was so kind, patient and respectful with our rescue puppy as well as our older dog (who we were told we could absolutely bring along just so he could become familiar with the clinic.)We have never been to a "fear free" clinic before and while we don't have anxious pets, all animals deserve to be met at their eye level if possible and given time to adjust which is exactly what happened during our first visit.Beyond that, Dr. Scott's communication with me was just as satisfying. I was shown the canine pain scale for the first time ever despite going to three different vets since moving to Idaho 18 years ago as well as given the opportunity to make informed choices about the options available which included going to another Intermountain Clinic if we preferred.Finally, we were communicated with by both text and phone call before and after our dog's surgery and sent in depth surgical summary.The only thing I missed was a phone call to check in on our pup the next day (which our old vet always did) but when I called with a question, I got great support.Our puppy is recovering well from her surgery which included a larger than expected hernia repair.We feel very lucky to have found the Chinden Intermountain Pet Hospital and Dr. Scott. We may even look into the acupuncture she offers someday.”

He was very candid about the situation, which I thoroughly respected him for doing so.!! They all were very professional, helping me put my dog down give us a plaque of his paw, print and sent flowers the next day.!! “I visited The Boise Cat Clinic today for the first time and will never go anywhere else! Dr O'Brien and the entire staff were kind, attentive and super knowledgeable. I chose them because they only accept cats and since a trip to the vet is already traumatic, to add dogs into the mix would have made it more so. I also love that I was sent an estimate before my appointment so there were no surprises. I highly recommend this clinic to any cat lover!”
“My 7 year old fur baby was losing his teeth and his gums were raw. Dr. Murphy took him and assessed him. I was so pleased to see how gentle he was with David. Setting him up for teeth surgery next week. Staff was very friendly and I felt very comfortable.”
