Aiden helped with clipping the dogs nails for me and she did AMAZING! I have three dogs and they are pretty anxious cattle dogs and do not care for getting their nails clipped. Aiden was so kind and gentle, she did a phenomenal job while showing a lot of care and consideration for the animals. She didn’t hurt them at all, and did what I couldn’t which was so helpful and very worth the five dollars!
Overall the prices are incredibly fair, the people working there are very considerate and helpful, and it’s a very clean establishment, especially for a place full of dogs.
Highly recommend and will be returning!

Pet Spa Dog and Cat Grooming
9140 W Emerald St #107, BoiseOur dog is, to put it nicely, very fussy. His breed even has a reputation at most groomers as being challenging and difficult. He happily walks into this place and the staff is always so kind to him and to us about his fussiness. I don’t think I have felt this good about any other groomer I’ve taken him to. I also love that the other dogs, either waiting to be groomed or drying off / waiting for pick up are all out in the open. You can easily see where the animals are being kept and it’s not some secret room in the back where they could be doing only knows what! Also did I mention the staff is absolutely wonderful? I can’t say enough good things. As much as it pains me to write them such a good review because it may make it more difficult to get an appointment if they start to get popular ?, I know they deserve it so it’s worth it

The staff was very friendly and gave him lots of attention. Dr Boquet was very caring and Sevyn received The very Best Love and care. I'm so glad I got Sevyn established as a patient here, because I know he will receive the Best care whenever he needs medical attention. He also Loved the catnip ball they gave him and when we got home he forgot he wasn't feeling good and played like a kitten. I would Definitely recommend The Cat Doctor to anyone who has a cat and needs a good Veterinarian.

Ewing Animal Hospital
2318 N 36th St, BoiseI cannot say enough good things about Ewing Animal Hospital. We have utilized services by both Dr. Wethered & Dr. Lieske for various reasons across the years (annual check-ups, spays, tumor removal, blood panels, kidney failure, multiple day hospitalizations, etc.). There is no such thing as a dumb question and I have never felt like I was rushed through an appointment or like communication was lacking like some other reviews state. They do a really great job at trying to accommodate any of your scheduling needs. Both vets also work out of another location so if their schedule at Ewing does not fit your availability or needs, they do a great job at coordinating with the other location to ensure your pet is able to be seen. The staff ranging from their awesome veterinarians, vet techs to their front reception team show that they actually care which really helps during those spooky hospital stays because you can trust that your pet is in good hands (and receives love and attention during their stay). That portion was HUGE for me. I knew my pets were not just hanging out alone in their kennel. Visits were allowed and each staff member we came in contact with had a million things to say and chatted about the time they were spending with them. I could not recommend them enough.

Dr Hunter is extremely knowledgeable and thorough, and I love her mix of traditional and homeopathic options. Our 15 year old lab is a perfect example of Dr Hunter’s “magic” - before we found her, our lab was in a lot of pain, not very mobile or energetic; now she is thriving and spunky as ever, with the right meds and supplements, and the occasional acupuncture. We appreciate you Dr Hunter- the world needs more of you!

Prior to that I had tried out two other clinics who had either rude receptionists or incompetent, new young vets. I had 3 labs, ranging in age from 5 to 13. Dr Wethered is a bit quirky with humans, but really understands the needs of dogs. He instantly recognized my choc lab had severe anxiety and would benefit from Prozac, which he's on now and really has helped; he successfully administered laser surgery to my lab who was treated before with surgical methods that didn't work at a different clinic for canine papilloma virus; he diagnosed and did successful surgery on bladder stones for my elderly yellow lab; my choc lab had surgery by Dr Keller in an emergency situation for eating a bone that wouldn't pass on a Friday evening....she stayed late doing the surgery and came in later that evening to check him and early in the AM again to check him...he recovered great! Dr Wethered and team sent me a beautiful bouquet after they learned I had to put down my yellow lab. Dr W does a lot of research and stays abreast with the latest findings. Again, he's quirky with people but great at treating animals. The staff is always friendly and their hours of operation best in town.

North Boise Veterinary Clinic
1307 W Jefferson St, BoiseI cannot say enough about North Boise Vet, Dr Frost and his staff. My dog Millie had not been eating and had signs of blood in her stool for a couple of weeks and it was only getting worse. I took her in and the staff were so gentle and kind. Dr Frost came in and examined her, listened to what I had to say and gave me a run down on what they were going to do. They needed to keep her in order to complete her testing and x-rays and they kept me up to date on what they were finding. Unfortunately they discovered a tumor on her spleen, we discussed the options but the only viable route was to see she had a comfortable send off. They were truly compassionate through out this whole ordeal, they let me sit with Millie for as long as I wanted before saying good-bye and let me continue to pet her and see me to the end. All I can say is Thank you.

She went through the puppy program, through distraction class, and now advanced off leash. She enjoys the specialty classes as well. We learned how to have success in the foothills with your pup, paddle boarding at Lucky Peak, started agility and more.Lilli has also become a Therapy, Crisis, and Airport dog with Go Team before she turned two and that is directly because the classes, training, and support from PPDT.If you want a well behaved dog you can enjoy taking everywhere you need to put in the time, but more importantly have the guidance and knowledge from Positive Pets.

We were thinking about doing doggy day care, but the environment was stressful for him so he didn't play much and didn't get very much energy out. Chris & his services were amazingly helpful. Booking online through the website was super convenient and easy. After the initial consultation we had Chris take Mo out 4 or 5 times for hikes in the foothills. He came to the house to pick him up, sent GPS trail data so we can see where they went, sent photos, and dropped off a very tired and happy pup. Thanks Chris for being a part of my recovery team, your work was very helpful.

The regular size tortas are quite large and I could only eat half in one sitting.

2772 S Cole Rd #140, BoiseI travel extensively. Have for years, checking out breweries as I wander this country. This is one of my favorite and will stick out in my memory as an unexpected and unique find.
The beer is sublime, the space friendly and congenial, a great little outdoor sitting area, and a man behind the bar that is the perfect balance between attentive, informative, and entertaining.
The one downside on this visit was that their pizza kitchen was down after a fire, which I was counting on for food when I headed here on my way east.
So, that was disappointing but everything else was so good it gets a solid five-star rating.

The smash burger is my favorite burger in town and I’m have yet to find another place that can compete with the craft beer. There’s something for everyone, from light beer to hoppy double IPA’s, and always something new on tap. This is our go to place when we are downtown.
