“Just came back from getting some snacks! Has a parking lot to go into, and once you head in the store it's nice and spacious. We were on the hunt for cookies. And boy we went a little crazy. We got a whole lot, the Cornflake cookies, shortbread arare cookies, chocolate chip macnut cookies, and the chocolate chip cookies with walnuts. I love the homemade taste to it. These are good brand of cookies and good omiyage for friends that moved to the mainland or just to have in the house. What I really wanted was an icee and I wasn't disappointed. A medium is 32oz and @ $2.59 you cannot go wrong. Good way to cool off. They had cola, strawberry and blue vanilla. I think they'll be seeing us again. We also walked around and there were a lot of local goodies to buy too but we were mainly there for cookies and icees. Don't worry, we will be back! Cookies are reasonably priced too. The 8oz almond cookies were $6.75. So excited to go back and get more goodies next time!”

“I went there to meet my granddaughter. But the aroma in the air was so tantalizing. I had to follow my nose...all the way to the deli. Everything looked so ONO! Noticed the plates were well worth the price, plus a free drink! I had the fried chicken plate. 3 choice of side, 3 BIG chicken thighs, and a can of Pepsi 9.99 plus tax. FRIED PERFECTLY, NOT OILY. Better than Zippys chicken! Drove all the way down from waianae to get the steak and shrimp plate! Well worth it!”

“Newest Safeway on the island. More options for Waipahu residents and larger store than the nearest Foodland and Times. Plenty of parking. Prices expensive if not on sale.”

“Nii Superette is a hidden gem on Oahu! When I decided to be sober and researched alcohol-alternative beverages, I stumbled upon this one-in-a-million store! Steven is nothing short of an alcohol-free "sommelier" and I look forward to his wisdom and guidance with each visit!”

“First time at a Walmart in Hawaii. By comparison to other stores across the country this is towards the top in terms of selection cleanliness and choices. Prices are still ok for being on the island. We've also used the delivery service and it was quick and convenient. If you're a tourist, definitely get what you need here delivered to your hotel or air BNB.”

“My friend told me about $5 pompano and I was craving sinigang! Same parking lot as Arby’s, Jack in the Box and Elena’s - limited parking.Walk in and there’s a tata on the left replacing watch batteries, then vegetables.Got some Filipino snacks, sauces etc. on the right.Far left is where all the fish are! Got my pompano! They’ll also clean the fish at no additional cost!”

“Shopping in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... Times Supermarket is a local grocery store chain. There are weekly ads that advertise specials - which is a big help! I personally like looking at authentic Japanese products, fresh flowers, and beautiful produce. This location also had items from the Philippines! I also saw Sanrio (Hello Kitty) cosmetics and really cute plushies! The New Years mochi and kadomatsu for good luck were available for everyone! The traditional merchandise is comforting! I like Times, but I prefer patronizing stores with loyalty programs. I'll go here if I need to... I appreciate that it's clean, well-lit, and organized!”

“Small business known for their freshly made chiccarones. If you don't see any it is because it is being made fresh or it needs to be put out. Small business like this needs our support. Please tip the cashier if possible.”

“I swear the ahi poke here used to be fresh. They used to also add the sauce after they weigh it. Now it's clearly frozen and last couple times they add the sauce before weighing. It's $12 a pound which is still very cheap. Besides poke they have good Filipino baked goods and other Filipino centric foods/treats. I don't eat frozen poke so I pan fry it. It's delicious that way.”

“Finally extended their hours to 10pm, post covid hours were terrible since trying to use the ASB ATM is inconvenient since they moved it inside the store too SMH.

This is one of the smaller and older Foodlands having been at this Waipio shopping center since the beginning and i support them when i can. Cashiers and service is friendly and very helpful, dont think youll find that anywhere else?Had a problem redeeming my maikai points but they took their time to straighten the matter out. Mahalos??”

“Walmart 5 stars for your store being extra cold. This is how I like to shop. As a woman who has hot flashes from time to time, I tend to sweat at random moments. However, today, not once did I break a sweat in your store. I am very happy to see the positive changes that your renovation brought about. Your shopping isles are much wider. Several of your team members on the sales floor that I encountered "all male" were extremely pleasant to customers. I usually say to my husband, "Let's do a target run. However, I might just need to change that up to "let's make a Walmart run" My only issue with shopping in your store today was one of your order pick-up team members. Older Filipino lady. We were in a tight area, and customers needed to pass through. She kept her cart in the middle of the aisle, and none of our wagons could go around her. Until I pushed her cart on the side. It's common sense that if you are in a tight area, pull your basket to the side so the flow of customers is not interrupted. I guess common os not so common for some.”
