“Nii Superette is a hidden gem on Oahu! When I decided to be sober and researched alcohol-alternative beverages, I stumbled upon this one-in-a-million store! Steven is nothing short of an alcohol-free "sommelier" and I look forward to his wisdom and guidance with each visit!”

“I stopped by Longs drug waipahu just to pick up my medicine and no plans to shop, but a few sale items caught my eye. When I went to check out, a sweet senior lady named Kathleen noticed I was holding my prescription and a receipt. She kindly asked if I had checked for any discounts, and when I said no, she took a moment to look it over for me.
To my surprise, she found $6 discount i could use right away. Then asked if i wanted to upgrade my Longs drug card, which will give me another $10 off with my purchase today.
She was incredibly helpful, friendly,and genuinely cared about helping me save not just today but on future visits too.
We chatted a bit, and she mentioned she would have retired years ago but chooses to keep working for her health. I completely admired that and told her how much I appreciated her kindness.
My original total was $37 and thanks to Kathleen, it dropped to $19! People like her truly make a difference.

“Gasoline in Waipahu, Oahu, Hawaii... I wasn't planning to go to Waipahu, but I had to... LOL! I was going to fill up my gasoline tank on Saturday, but here it was... Friday, and I needed gasoline... So that I could get home safely... I pulled out my trusty Hele app and thought that I would get 25 cents off of the posted gasoline price, but I was only given 10 cents off, which was the cash price. I questioned the cashier. She was so patient and nice about explaining that the extra 15 cents per gallon is awarded on weekends. Really? I pointed out that Saturday was one hour away. She made a sad face... like she felt my pain... Luckily, I didn't fill the tank all the way up. I told her that I'd return on Saturday... And I did! Yay! I got my 25 cents off per gallon the next day! Hahaha!”

“Good gas price for Hawaii, bathroom inside and some good cold drinks, musubis and sandwiches! Let’s not forget the car wash, vacuum & tire pressure they have.”

“Wow! That was my first reaction when I stepped foot into the Aloha Island Mart Leokane location. The store is located in Waipahu on the mountain side of Farrington Highway and a block away from Don Quixote. Walking inside the store I noticed the touch screen fountain machine as well as the coffee station towards the left of the entrance. The condiments are located on the island counter across of the coffee station. Look down and you'll find the microwave. Towards the right side of the entrance door will be the BofH ATM as well as two seater tables. There's even a public restroom here...just make sure to keep it clean. Customers are able to purchase gas for the vehicles, fruits, snacks, sushi, bentos, package beverages, wine, alcohol, and cigarettes. Tobacco and alcohol products are for customers who are 21yrs old and older with proof of valid photo identification card. Children can buy some toys at this convenience store. I personally ended up using the touch screen fountain machine and chose a flavor that I liked to fill a small cup. I walked around the store and grabbed a frozen dinner from the freezer section. I also grabbed a inari sushi from the cold section near the checkout counter. I took the products up to the counter where the friendly employee rang me up. I had the option to pay either cash or card. I ended up using Google Pay (Android Pay).”

“My husband (Glenn) always gets his tires from Lex Brodie. He has been going there for years. Junior walked him through the process of the centering rings and type of lugs he needed. He also reminded him to bring the car back in a couple of days to torque the lug nuts. Junior made sure Glenn got his rebate forms to submit to the Rebate Center. Everyone at Lex Brodie is very courteous, professional and always will to help you and answer any questions. Thank you Junior for for expertise and everyone else for always being so helpful. Good Job!!!!!”

“I swear the ahi poke here used to be fresh. They used to also add the sauce after they weigh it. Now it's clearly frozen and last couple times they add the sauce before weighing. It's $12 a pound which is still very cheap. Besides poke they have good Filipino baked goods and other Filipino centric foods/treats. I don't eat frozen poke so I pan fry it. It's delicious that way.”

“My grand nephew likes getting his Freyo for his after school snack, plus a spam musubi or lup Chong manapua, they are usually busy during the time we go but the cashiers are pretty quick to bring the long line down, unfortunately the machines for smoothies or slush is not in service, one or the other, they are popular with the kids so I'm sure maintenance is hard to keep on a high demand products.”

“Awhile ago I went to this gas station to fill my tire with air. One of the workers came out to fill and check all my tires including my spare.I was surprised due to previously using the air hose and being charged at Shell gas station by Westgate Shopping Center. I would’ve done a review than on the great customer service at Texaco but I didn’t get his name.Today I went because my right front tire was low. He found a nail in it, fixed that tire and proceeded to check and fill the rest of my tires.Well, I finally got his name. And Rhyan did more than I expected. He went above and beyond his duties. I was really pleased with his customer service. Hope he gets a raise after this review…lol”

“The main reason I like to come here is for their car wash. If there's a car wash for less than $20, I'm there. Their car wash is cheap, quick and fairly efficient. They have 3 different price points/packages. I usually go for the highest priced one because I like "the works." The only frustrating thing is that you just never know when the car wash is even operational -- it's super hit or miss. Sometimes it's open, and then other times it's randomly closed for maintenance. Mind you, I live in town so I learned the hard way to call ahead to make sure the car wash is actually open before driving here all the way from town. Anyway, when the car wash is open, it does its job and cleans my car fairly well. I also like picking up some snacks from the store whenever I'm here too.”

“This review is for the 7 eleven in Waipahu directly next to Taniokas in Waipahu. Parking is very tight here due to the crowds that Tanioka. Rings in. Big 7 eleven store with loads of selections!! Very friendly staff here and sometimes security helps out with the crowds of people trying to snag a prime parking stall They do have some undesirables (bums homeless chronics etc) who hang out and chill around here so just be aware lol”
